In the third week of May, Null Security Space continuous to see much effusion of blood and tears as wars rage throughout the regions. All across New Eden, the race is on to secure as much space as possible before the FozzieSov changes come into effect, or in other cases, try and preserve it. For many coalitions, the pressure is on, and the only question is, who will fold first?
Continuing to be one of the most bloody, if not the bloodiest part of the galactic map, the Drone Lands supply plenty of carnage on an almost daily basis, as both the Geminate Coalition and Nulli Secunda [S2N] combat the Vanguard Coalition, systems continuing to switch hands every day. The pendulum madly swings from side to side, as one day sees GemCo and its allies win systems and battles only to be greeted by defeat and further system losses the next. In Venal, the local residents continue to offer resistance to the Circle-Of-Two [CO2] and the Imperium’s (CFC’s re-branded name) invasion but with no major success. The Imperium brought its big guns to stomp out the locals, and has been managing to remove many towers, though still hemorrhaging losses.
Continuing to remain the most quiet of regions, the main point of contention seems to be the continued feud between Phoebe Freeport Republic [PFR] and Diplomatic Immunity. [DIP], the two having rather small to medium scale clashes as the other coalitions continuing to intervene only on system timers, usually on [PFR]’s behalf.
The south continues to be a mixed bag, as the raging war in Querious seems to be taking a toll on the DARKeshi (The DARKNESS. [DARK.] and The Kadeshi [THOR] partnership), losing several timers and suffering from continued harassment by both The Reavers Squadron [A subset of the Imperium] and Pandemic Legion [-10.0]. At the same time, it seems that both alliances have been attempting to branch into the Catch region, with some unforeseen consequences. In Providence though, things seem quite different, as after a few weeks of fighting the Northern Coalition. [NC] war machine seems to have run out of steam. After two blunders both sides have resorted to mainly bashing towers.
The Fountain region continues to host a succession of brutal fights as Fountain Core and Black Legion. [MEN.] continue to battle HERO Coalition over regional supremacy. After a few weeks of basically winning almost every timer, [MEN.] and their allies seem to have lost momentum, with HERO Coalition even stopping them in a few battles. Whether this marks HERO Coalition’s revival or merely a hiccup on the part of [MEN.] is yet to be determined.

– [MEN.] loses an unsupported Capital force that was bashing an Infrastructure Hub in the 4-EP12 system to [-10.0] forces, no survivors left. Link
– In Black Rise, the Gallente Militia and Snuffed Out [B B C] fight over a tower in the system of Hallanen. The ferocious fight draws participants from all over Null Security space, resulting in 120 Bil ISK lost in no less than 40 Capital ships and countless sub capitals. Link
– [MEN.] continue to push their claim over Fountain, meeting HERO Coalition in a fight over a Dysprosium moon in the MN5N-X system. Though HERO Coalition offers a brave resistance, it ultimately loses the field to [MEN.]. Link
– [NC] losses an entire Tempest Fleet Issue Battleship fleet in the VKI-77 system to Providence Bloc, in a battle that couldn’t be called anything but a massacre. Link
– A Vanguard Coalition Machariel Battleship fleet is annihilated by [-10.0] in the 8KE-YS system, resulting in 30 Bil ISK of losses. Link
– HERO Coalition stops [MEN.] attempt to take a Dysprosium moon in MM5N-X, escalating to a Capital fight. Link
– [NC] and Providence Bloc continue to clash, this time in the KBP7-G system in the Providence region, resulting in [NC] escalating to Super Capital usage. Link
– A GoonSwarm Federation [CONDI] Super Capital force annihilates an Ivy League [IVY] Battleship fleet in Syndicate. Link

The third week of May continues to be as bloody as the previous ones, with no change in trends. The Drone Lands, Querious and Fountain continue to be the focus of attention, with Providence Bloc actually receiving a reprieve in the violence, though this could be just a temporary lull. While in the Drone Lands both GemCo and the Vanguard coalitions seem to clash with either side not budging an inch, and in Fountain HERO Coalition is apparently regaining strength, in Querious both [DARK.] and [THOR] seem to be on the ropes, after a series of disasters. With 5 weeks remaining until the FozzieSov changes, the picture may change a dozen times over, as the pressure builds up, threatening to crush individuals, corporations, alliances and even coalitions under its weight.
