Round 2 Fight!
This round started much like the previous fight with Pandemic Legion dreadnoughts making an attempt to push a Black legion tower into reinforced.
The original plan was to make an attempt before downtime incase Black legion responded quickly, this would let pandemic legion simply hold out even if caught simply till downtime.
What happened was the person responsible for lighting the cyno had forgot to restock liquid ozone, so the attempt was delayed.
This decision turned out to be a costly one
Heres how it turned out:
The cyno proteus loss would likely have been the cyno that brought in Black legions defense fleet of dreadnaughts and nidhoggur, while unconfirmed i believe this to be the case as t3 class ships are known for their lower signature radius, high speed and high resistances. If this proteus was moving i doubt these dreadnaughts would have been able to track the proteus.
Having failed to reinforce the tower in question ( it reaching about 30% shield remaining) and facing a superior forces of capitals along with sub capital support from interceptors Pandemic legion retreated.
While this certainly is not a huge loss to pandemic legion, it is a nice gain for Black legion.
For not the Legion vs Legion series is 2 – 0 But for how long?
