This evening CCP Gargant released the team setups for the upcoming Worlds Collide event which will be happening at Fanfest this year.
The event will see the Chinese ‘Serenity’ Server Champions, City of Angels alliance vs Alliance Tournament XII Champions representing the ‘Tranquility’ server, The Camel Empire in a best of five series to become crowned the overall Eve Online Champions of the Universe.
The setups make for interesting reading and shows the difference between the two servers in regards to what they think is necessary for victory in a PVP setting.
You can find the set-ups below;

You can rest assured that watching Worlds Collide will be well worth the time! Head over here to discuss these submitted setups.
As you can see, the Tranquility champions are going with tried and tested methods. Command ships and logistics are in predominance and for good reason, the high tank and DPS of command ships make them very worthy of the points you spend on them, not even taking into account the ability to use on grid links to help boost the effectiveness of their fleet mates.
Logistics, which are lacking in all but one of the Serenity server setups but which feature in all of the Camel Empire setups in one form or another, will play a big role and I think will become a deciding factor, along with the Tranquility team being able to field links in the most fights.
A lot of people on the discussion forum, which was set up by CCP Gargant, have already looked into the crystal ball and predicted a win for Camel Empire with a number of them also predicting a 3-0 white wash.
Lets not underestimate the Chinese alliance, City Of Angels, they managed to best the entirety of their server in a PVP tournament and, to do that they must be a good team. We shall have to wait until the evening of Friday 20th March 2015, when the honor of our server is put in the hands of the Camel Empire pilots.
Good luck guys!
