The Alliance Tournament is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever before! EVE Online’s premier PVP event, the Alliance Tournament XIX, promises to be an exciting and thrilling spectacle for all EVE Online fans. With over 40 of the best EVE Online alliances set to battle it out, this year’s tournament is not to be missed.
This year, the tournament will feature some changes that will make for an even more intense and engaging experience. Firstly, the Gallente have stepped up to be the official sponsors of the event. This means that there will be slight changes to the prize ships. Instead of creating entirely new ships, the prize ships for this year’s tournament will be variations on the Adrestia and Utu. This will preserve the uniqueness of the original prize ships, while still offering something new and exciting for the winners.
In addition to the changes to the prize ships, there have been some modifications to the tournament format as well. The point values for the ships have been revised, and some of the Gallente ships will be more affordable this time around. The tournament will also feature some of the newer navy faction ships that were released to the public last year.
Furthermore, the tournament organizers have reduced the point values for a few of the Triglavian ships. This means that we might see some new and exciting tactics from the participants, as they adjust to the new point values and ship costs.
Scripted sensor dampeners and weapon disruption will remain in the tournament. However, only ships that have a hull bonus that is applicable to those effects will be able to equip those modules. This means that players will have to be strategic in their ship choices and module fittings to take full advantage of these effects.
The full list of changes and point values will be released on April 25, so be sure to check the EVE Online forums for the latest updates.
Alliance Tournament XIX promises to be a thrilling event, with the best of the best battling it out for the ultimate prize. The tournament is a great way to showcase the incredible player-driven content that EVE Online has to offer. So, whether you’re a hardcore EVE Online fan or a newcomer to the game, make sure you don’t miss out on this year’s tournament!
