The following page will list patch notes for all updates within this monthly release (Version 18.09). For discussion about the content release, please head on over to the respective comments threads on EVE Online forums:
‘Stalwart’ Particle Field Magnifier → Stalwart Restrained Shield Boost Amplifier
‘Copasetic’ Particle Field Acceleration → Copasetic Compact Shield Boost Amplifier
Modules removed and migrated:
5a Prototype Shield Support I → Stalwart Restrained Shield Boost Amplifier
Ionic Field Accelerator I → Copasetic Compact Shield Boost Amplifier
All market orders for the affected modules will be removed, the modules and escrow will be returned to the character who created the order.
We will convert every module of one type into modules of another type, everywhere in the database. This includes modules currently fit to ships and modules in containers or contracts.
Structures now have a new inventory bay “Core Room” where an appropriate Quantum Core can be installed. The Core is non-removable once fitted, but will drop with 100% chance when structure is destroyed or unanchored.
The Core is currently optional and does not change any structure functionality, but in a future update structures lacking a Core will lose some abilities. See this dev blog for more details about how Quantum Cores will work, including a timeline.
This deployment includes “Phase 1 – Seeding”.
