Today EVE Online’s tranquility server suffered a DDoS attack causing mass disconnect to capsuleers. Be advised to take proper actions to avoid accidental loss of assets/ships due to it. More updates as the story develops.

15:38 UTC – TQ EXPERIENCED A MASS DISCONNECT DUE TO A SHORT LIVED DDOS ATTACK
15:55 UTC – ALL SERVICES NOW APPEAR TO BE RECOVERING
16:15 UTC – CAUSE CONFIRMED – DELIBERATE DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACK AT 15:38 UTC
16:20 UTC – SERVICES ARE NOW RECOVERING AND WE ARE MONITORING TQ
16:24 UTC – TRANQUILITY IS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING A SECOND DDOS ATTACK
17:00 UTC – TQ IS CURRENTLY RECOVERY AFTER THE ATTACK – SERVICES SLOWLY RESUMING
17:15 UTC – CONNECTIVITY TO TQ IS RESTORED, HOWEVER RESIDUAL CHAT ISSUES REMAIN!! CONNECTIVITY TO TQ IS NOW RESTORED !!
!! SOME CHAT ISSUES REMAIN – INVESTIGATION ONGOING !!
There are currently connectivity issues with the TQ cluster due to a Denial of Service Attack.
The first attack occured at 15:38 UTC, followed by a second at 16:24 UTC which is still ongoing.

Tranquility is currently recovering from a DDoS attack.
Connectivity restored, however there are still serveral chat issues that we're working through at present.
