We have recently received the below information from Gobbins regarding Pandemic Horde and their apparent contract to attack Triumvirate.
– we’re going back to war starting monday EUtz
– deploying to Curse
– everyone is neutral
– we focus our entosis on TRI
– getting paid for this $$$UPDATE
VICTORY IN THE NORTH
Mmm should I even waste a paragraph explaining how we dunked every babby who showed up north thinking they were hot shit until they got dick punched for weeks on end and left?
– TRI
– Test
– Goons
All seem to have bought the same ‘Feed the North’ starter pack
a) make a lot of noise on reddit about deploying
b) make a lot of entosis timers in adm2, post a screenshot on reddit, never follow up on them
c) LITERALLY NEVER MAKE IT OUT OF THEIR STAGING. Tri never managed to push past npc venal. Goons and test got stuck in lowsec, hell goons couldn’t even put up a staging fortizar is this for real?? We waited 1 year for this shit and they went right back to mining
d) feed for weeks but claim a ‘successful deployment’ and go home
Also lets not forget that TRI didn’t even face the whole north. PH was busy with INIT. NC stayed neutral. PL even helped tri on a couple timers.. GOTG alone shut down these clowns and they havent stopped crying about “being blobbed” since.LOOKING AT THE SOUTH
It’s hard to pick a favorite in the south.
– TEST has done nothing but trashtalk us since we took their space. They also cried when we defended gotg in the north as if that would be a shocker and they worked with goons in the north on several timers.
– CO2 is stronk warrior but lacks sanity and makes far better enemy than ally.
– FCON has been nice to us, they even brought some dudes to querious timers a couple times. They do feed like crazy tho.
– TRI has been shittalking horde about as much as test has. Unlike test tho we never hit tri, in fact we helped them several times in the past. Particularly last winter we went to war with init at the request of tri and test, who asked us to keep init occupied by hitting their moons in Syndicate while tri test and co were taking space from russians and goons in the south. When goons hit the north, we asked TRI if they could return the favor and go hit delve, but they refused to help.So with the north being stale, our initial plan was to simply deploy south and heavily third party on everybody. I did however reach out to all alliances involved in the war to see if they would have anything to offer in return for Horde’s help.
This is where it gets funny, because the tri leaders got deeply offended by horde daring to ask something in return for helping them. Here’s a couple snippets:
[2:31 PM] Gobbins [HORDE]: we’ll help whoever offers us the best deal capt
[5:53 PM] Cpt Patrick Archer: Good luck with that[2:37 PM] Gobbins [HORDE]: Hi Garst, how are you? Like I told patrick yesterday, I am trying to figure out which side horde should be on with the southern conflict
[2:37 PM] Gobbins [HORDE]: do you guys want horde’s help or not interested? if yes what do you have to offer
August 27, 2017
[1:38 AM] Garst Tyrell: why do you HAVE to be in on the conflict to begin with?
[1:38 AM] Garst Tyrell: pl and ncdot are gonna come down to curse anyway, and youll do whatever pl does
[1:38 AM] Garst Tyrell: so seems like a moot question across the boardYep, that’s it not only should we help him for free / for the greater good, but he makes a point to call us a bunch of cucks while at it too. This has actually happened a lot since WWB, another good example would be Escalating Entopy, Snuff early on and partially TC. This is why recently we have been a lot more selective about the who and how we help.
Anyways a few days later DRF gets back to us with an offer for a mercenary contract to burn TRI sov for isk.
I asked if we could still be neutral to brave/test/cva and the rest of the local content.
They said yes $$$.MERCENARY DEPLOYMENT
We will follow a similar model to what we tested in Querious/Delve and deploy in stages.
Stage 1. Vanguard + Bean Foreign Legion + Zombeans
Stage 2. Blitz (main horde Jump cloning back and forth with full handouts)
Stage 3. Full horde deployment (if it gets to that point)
The reason we have the stages is we cannot deploy the whole alliance at once without our logistics backbone shitting itself. For the line members, at Stage 1 you have two ways to get in on the action:
a) Join the BFL https://www.pandemic-legion.pl/forums/topic/13089-big-bean-foreign-legion/
b) Make a Zombean (Caldari alpha alt) https://www.pandemic-legion.pl/forums/topic/13813-infestation-20-zombeans-the-caldari-alpha-alt/
STAGING: HLW (curse) http://evemaps.dotlan.net/station/HLW-HP_VI_-_Moon_14_-_Serpentis_Corporation_Chemical_Refinery
DOCTRINES: For Zombeans you will get handouts. BFL and VG check your own forums for doctrines.
STRATEGIC TARGET: As far as the contract goes our primary targey is TRIUMVIRATE sov and secondarily the sov of their allies (CO2, FRT, ecc..). FCs have access to the more detailed strategic plan and our invasion map.
FUN CONTENT: This is what is more relevant to the line members and roaming FCs. The area around curse is the promised land of content, anywhere you go you can basically get good fights. Here are the main hotspots:
Brave staging 8 jumps out http://evemaps.dotlan.net/route/HLW-HP:GE-8JV
Space violence 4 jumps out http://evemaps.dotlan.net/route/HLW-HP:V-IUEL
Provi/CVA 15 jumps out http://evemaps.dotlan.net/route/HLW-HP:G-5EN2
HED-GP camps 10 jumps out http://evemaps.dotlan.net/route/HLW-HP:HED-GP
The decision for caldari alpha was especially chosen with these fun targets in mind. We expect some really good content can be obtained by rolling out in a group of alpha cormorants for example, and playing around against other dessie fleets near Brave staging ecc… Ospreys + Caracals or Moas also make for an excellent Zombean comp, once everyone trains up the cruisers.RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
– We are neutral to TEST, FCON, BRAVE and everyone else in the area
– You are free to roam in their space and brawl them
– You are free to hunt them and their ratters (and they are free to hunt ours)
– If they are busy with a strat op however, stay out of their way (or help them)
– In a fight, always shoot TRI, CO2 and their allies first
This is basically the same rules we had with GOTG during WWB, so you can act the same way.
FCs have more details which have been hashed out with PL and Test, as far as the roaming guys, the simplest term is: if you run across test or fcon entosing, leave them alone; and if you see a test or fcon strat op fleet rolling by, do not interfere, do not go after its stragglers or slow it down.MONEY DETAILS
Tax will stay at normal 10%
To encourage looking for content in the south, homeguard will be suspended and the isk used to reward infestor FCs and for Infestor handouts during the contract
The contract isk will be entirely redistributed between the active FC, the guys moving ships and SRPSUMMARY
– gradual deployment to Curse
– no blues, max content
– deliver some bean payback against Triumvirate
– get paid for itFINAL NOTE
For the line members, this is a great source of new content. For the FCs and organizers however this is a big step for horde, the generous contract we have been offered shows that our effort has been recognized and someone deemed it worth their money to pay for our help. It is especially sweet that we get to go up against elitist people who regurgitate the reddit koolaid and see us as pawn without our own identity. So let’s get rich burning their shit.
It appears that following an offer of assistance to Triumvirate which was rejected they were approached by DRF to attack them on their behalf, hence the move to war. The question remains that if they had their offer accepted to assist would the DRF still have approached them to see if they could sway them to their side? Stay tuned for further updates as more information becomes available.
