CCP Falcon released the following statement this afternoon declaring the reimbursement for the unplanned pausing of skill queues during last weeks ghost training fix complete.
We are happy to announce that reimbursement has been completed for all those who lost skillpoints due to the inadvertent pausing of skill queues that occurred on June 9th.
Skillpoints have been reimbursed at the standard rate of 40 skillpoints for every minute that affected players had their skill queues paused by the script that was ran on June 8th.
If for any reason you were affected by this issue and have not been reimbursed by the deployment today, please feel free to contact our customer support team by filing a support ticket via the Help Center, and our friendly Game Masters will be more than happy to assist.
Please feel free to discuss this news item in this forum thread.
When pressed in the forums about how 40 skillpoints/min compares to the 32/27 attribute rate, Falcon responded,
We don’t draw any comparisons – any reimbursement is given at one standard rate, regardless of character attributes.
Despite today’s announcement, a substantial number of Capsuleers are finding CCP’s script has missed them, or their alt accounts, leading to outcries across various forums and social media. While many pilots state that they won’t likely be filing tickets to replace such a small amount of skillpoints, they are still disappointed that the situation was not fully rectified as CCP claimed. Characters with unallocated skillpoints in their queues before this issue will find it difficult to tell if they have been reimbursed.
As stated by CCP Falcon, you should file a ticket for reimbursement should you have been missed by the system. EN24 will update this post with details should any more become available.
