The past week has supplied more than enough videos from around New Eden. From ambient videos, fake trailers and some hilarious or tense PvP moments, these are EVE News 24’s picks for the past week:
#1 Shadow State’s Sotiyo Engineering Complex Timelapse by gilliganxl
A beautiful ambient video showing the fabrication of a Sotiyo engineering complex, the biggest in its family, as it is anchored. Quite a mesmerizing sight.
#2 New Home by Arthur Vié
A cinematic video that is well shot and edited, showing the fights leading to and including the destruction of the M-OEE8 Keepstar. Truly a joy to watch.
#3 Solo PvP Heaven – Part 2 by Solo PvP
After being featured on the site last time, it’s only fitting that the sequel to the original video make an appearance in the subsequent compilation. A solo PvP video, this time the pilot decided to feature only autocannon boats. The result is the video below, enjoy!
#4 The Insurrection. PvP by INSRT Fury
An eclectic collection of fights ranging from solo to small gang PvP with various ships. The battles depicted in the video range from edge of the seat viewing to nail biting frustration. Still, a good watch.
#5 The Third Punic War by gilliganxl
gilliganxl makes a second appearance on the list, this time with a brilliant cinematic video. In this piece, gilliganxl compiled cinematic footage from the first week of battles in the war that has many names, from “The Winter War”, “The Winter Casino War” and “The Traitors’ War”. Regardless of how future EVE historians will name the war, they’ll have no qualms calling the video itself amazing.
#6 Eve online – The Old King by Mantas Karlonas
I’d argue that there is no more iconic ship in the game than the Rifter. The Rifter has been at the forefront of many wars, made famous by the original Goonswarm alliance. However, since those halcyon days, the ship has seen a decline in use as new generations of ships entered the game and eclipsed it. Yet one pilot seeks to return the ship to its rightful spot as the king of New Eden. In the following video, watch him toil to make the Rifter fearsome again.
#7 TEST – The Winter Casino War by Temppu Gaming
A war without a trailer is no war at all, and the pilots over at Test Alliance Please Ignore [TEST] obliged New Eden with a trailer for their invasion of Catch. The result is quite worth a watch.
