Watch These – Eve Online Weekly Video Round Up #41

December 23, 2016

By Salivan Harddin

The past week has supplied more than enough videos from around New Eden. From ambient videos, fake trailers and some hilarious or tense PvP moments, these are EVE News 24’s picks for the past week:

#1 EvE Online: Cinematic, Fortizar by Lord Molly

A nice, ambient video showcasing a Fortizar citadel. The high graphics, music and the motion of the camera orbiting the structure combine to make quite a relaxing and beautiful piece.

#2 Chaos Crew by DDs Free

A trailer depicting this year’s highlights for Escalating Entropy [CHAOS], the video combines edited footage from different battles and operations the alliance took, such as taking down 3Better’s Revenant, clashing with Snuffed Out’s super capital force in Melmaniel, and more.

#3 CHAOS: Origins by FeintGaming

Another video from Escalating Entropy, this time a cinematic re-telling of the alliance’s formation and growth. Fully narrated and combining footage from many battles, the video informs the viewer of the reasons behind the alliance’s creation and its beliefs.

#4 …we are coming… by EmmyMnemonic

A chilling cinematic trailer. With the Tribute War over, Circle-Of-Two [CO2] is looking for a new home, and is proclaiming its intention with this video. The residents of the south of New Eden ought to prepare, as something nefarious is coming after new year’s eve!

#5 Iron Armada – Wicked Winter War with The Heathens (Feign Disorder / Salt the Earth) by Tridgit

Though it hasn’t been generating many headlines, the war in Wicked Creek between local residents and The Bastard Cartel [TBC] has been going on for a while. This video is a summary of the war thus far from the residents’ perspective, also known as The Heathens coalition. For those wondering what has gone on in Wicked Creek for the past few months, it’s quite a helpful video.

#6 15min of Solo PvP Heaven – Welcome 2017! by Solo PvP

True to its title, the video contains 15 minutes of solo PvP with a variety of ships, mainly cruisers and battlecruisers. The fights themselves are very detailed, accompanied with good music and are not afraid to show that sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. Quite an enjoyable watch.
