The passing week has supplied more than enough videos from around New Eden. From ambient videos, fake trailers and some hilarious or tense PvP moments, these are EVE News 24’s picks for the past week:
#1 Oijanen – Low sec thunderdome by Quam Singulari
With the dust of the battle of Oijanen still settling down, more and more pilots have released videos of the fight. While some have already been featured here, and others may end up on other lists on this site, this more cinematic take of the battle is still fun to watch. Quite dramatic by choice of music, editing, and of course, the source material, it is quite enjoyable to view.
#2 EvE Online – Steve (The Death of the First Titan) by goduffgo TV
Another beautiful ambient video by goduffgo TV, this time presenting the last resting place of the Avatar class titan “Steve”, the first titan to be built in the game. The titan’s history and subsequent demise had already been detailed on the site, but this video allows the viewer to appreciate just how enormous a ship a titan really is, and how monumental its death was, in the early days of New Eden.
#3 The Little Dildo that Could – Solo Thorax by Morrow Disca
A great compilation video of fights in low security space where one lone brave Thorax cruisers seeks to challenge his peers. Each battle is hard fought with the video full of nail baiting moments. Not recommended to those weak of heart.
#4 Eve online: Iron Sails (Black Ops) by Martino Fabbro
An amazing piece compiling a wide variety of black ops battleship drops, this video shows the skill and preparation that a truly experienced black ops pilot must possess. In the video you can see the different tricks, fits, and preparation work needed to successfully hunt some of New Eden’s most elusive, and quite lucrative prey.
#5 Spectre Fleet: Logibro Teaser by Spectre Fleet Gaming Community
A beautiful video showcasing the most thankless, yet important job in New Eden’s fleets; the logistics pilot. Hardly ever present on battle reports or kill mails, these pilots comprise the backbone of any fleet and their skill can at times be the difference between victory or defeat. In recognition of their important role, Spectre Fleet gave them a spotlight in the following video.
#6 Death is Imminent One! by Steven Wolf
An intense PvP video compiling several battles fought either solo or with a friend. The video contains a wide range of ships and fights, as the pilot tries his best to overcome some truly impossible odds. It’s left to the viewer to see whether he succeeds in it or not!
