The passing weeks have supplied more than enough videos from around New Eden. From ambient videos, fake trailers and some hilarious or tense PvP moments, these are EVE News 24’s picks for the month of March:
#1 EVE Online: Actual PvP: Mostly Solo Jackdaw Shenanigans! by Banshee Legend’s Pixel Spaceships
A nice video of some small scale and solo PvP, showcasing the Jackdaw, one of the less utilized tech III destroyers.
#2 Eve Online: Zero.Tolerance – Beam Omen Navy – Commentary by Blood Ruin
A rare commentary video explaining in detail a small engagement on a gate. Very informative, clear and coupled with some good footage, this video can teach aspiring pilots on the rules of engagement in New Eden, and perhaps save them some loss mails in the process.
#3 EVE Online – Welcome to Amarr VIII (Oris) by Drunkenspud
A beautiful atmospheric video presenting the second largest trade hub in New Eden. This video with its soothing music and sweeping camera controls really shows the majesty of the Amarrian capital, as well as its bustling markets.
#4 EVE Online: A New Player Guide, Get Moving In The Right Direction! by sprintonwater
A great and comprehensive guide for new players showcasing EVE Online and explaining some of its basic principles as well as the reason why it differs from other MMORPGs. If you ever wanted to bring a friend into the game but didn’t know how to explain EVE to him, this video will do the job for you.
#5 MC – The Message by SeleeneEVE
Mercenary Coalition [MC] has a long history of producing great videos, the video announcing the formation of Tortuga is still one of my favorite EVE Online videos ever produced. Thus when it released a new trailer, my expectations were high. Suffice to say, I was not disappointed.
#6 EVE Online – Dark-Rising: Faded by Judas II
Judas II returns to give us another beautiful video highlighting some of the recent exploits of Dark-Rising [-DARK] corporation, complete with a nice soundtrack. A joy to watch!
