On the 27th April 09:57 eve time in the system of EI-O0O in the region of Fountain a Chremoas piloted by Kobald Simbian was downed by forces belonging to The-Culture
Kobald Simbian was piloting his brand new Chremoas around the region of Fountain looking for fights when he got more than he bargained for. Trying to force a fight he managed to get the attention of The-Culture by tackling an Archon Class Carrier next door to their home system. A Sentinel quickly came to the aid of the Carrier but was annihilated almost instantly by the sheer force of the Alliance Frigate. It didn’t take long for The-Culture to respond quickly assembling a small fleet to counter the Chremoas.
Led by Septen Reaper, The-Culture sat there fleet on the EI-O0O gate in J5A-IX consisting of roughly 15 mixed frigates and cruisers. They then sent in 2 Tackle Interceptors to force a fight. When they jumped through the first Interceptor decided to hold on the gate while the other warped off ready to come in and assist. The Chremoas pilot saw the extra pilots in local and quickly warped to the J5 gate to see what he could tackle. He knew something was up when the first Interceptor failed to stray too far from the safety of the stargate. Nevertheless the Chremoas headed out to a ping roughly 200kms off the stargate and The-Culture Interceptors decided to go for it. The first burned in and managed to get a hard scrambler on the Chremoas shutting down his Microwarpdrive. Little did they know the Chremoas was dual prop fit. Some extreme manual piloting ensued and The-Cultures Interceptor managed to get a hard orbit on the Chremoas. Keeping him held down. Barrages landed back on the tackle Interceptor and shields started to shred. He couldn’t hold much longer and called for the aid of his fleet.
With that the second Interceptor warped in and secondary tackled the Chremoas, The-Culture then sprung the trap jumping into the system and warping straight to the allied Interceptor who was now well over 250km off the gate. The Chremoas could do little to stop the onslaught, In a hope to break tackle he overloaded everything on his ship and the interceptor was going down hard. With the Interceptor hitting structure things started to look up with no other scrams on his ship. He pre overheated his Microwarpdrive ready to burn out of warp range. It was at that moment secondary scramblers landed and the Chremoas crumbled under the relentless barrages and missiles landing on his ship. With the battle over and the loot scooped Kobald Simbian decided to GF The-Culture fleet by warping in his Links Tengu for a free kill. With that The-Culture lit a Warp Disruption field catching Kobalds pod and further adding to the loss.

PunkRawk: So anything to say to The-Culture after the fight?
Kobold Simbian: I thoroughly enjoyed picking a fight with The-Culture and have to give mad props to the tackler Interceptors. Was some damn fine piloting.
Punkrawk: Is that the end of your eve career?
Kobold Simbian: Well I thought about it, but I still have to complete my Angel Alliance campaign. Maybe my next step will be the Moracha 🙂
PunkRawk: Rapiid you were part of The-Culture response fleet, anything you’d like to say about the fight?
Rapiid: I just want to say the Chremoas pilot had balls of steel in this fight and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our Interceptor absolutely hero tackled and we are all still buzzing. It takes a really ballsy pilot to bring a ship like that to Null and I hope he does it again. Great Props and Great Fight!
