Tzvi system, Devoid region. On the early hours of the 17th of April, Did he say Jump [JMP-N] and allies clashed once more with Local Is Primary [CTRLV] and its allies over a tower in the system.
The tower in question belonged to Local Is Primary and was reinforced in retaliation for the battle of Kamela by Did he say Jump. With the tower situated over a valuable moon and exiting its reinforced mode, both sides formed for a major confrontation.
Local Is Primary and its various allies managed to pull together an impressive 100 pilot armor battleship fleet. The force arrived to the system first and warped to the tower itself, setting up near its shields in anticipation for the hostile fleet.
Did he say Jump did not disappoint, gathering a 70 pilot Proteus strategic cruiser fleet with its allies in FETID [FETID] and the Gallente militia. This joint fleet made its way to the system, entering and warping to a ping on the tower’s grid. After a few tense moments, as both fleets stared at each other, the Did he say Jump fleet warped near the logistics wing of Local Is Primary and opened fire, starting the fight.
The two sides exchanged heavy blows, as Did he say Jump focused its fire on the Local Is Primary logistics wing, destroying several Guardian logistics cruisers with its opening shots. Local Is Primary wasn’t idle either, and concentrated its fire on the strategic cruisers, managing to volley a few as the two fleets maneuvered on the grid, keeping medium range from each other.
As the logistics wing of Local Is Primary burnt out of range for the strategic cruisers, came the turn of the battleships. One after another, the battleships were taken down by the Did he say Jump relentless fire barrages, only to be answered by return volleys which smashed strategic cruisers. A bloody trade off ensued between the two fleets, as each ship loss was quickly answered with another on the opposite side.
After initially trying to get close to Did he say Jump’s logistics wing, Local Is Primary pulled away from the strategic cruisers, maintaining medium range as it was unable to tank the incoming damage. After the battleships had time to re-anchor, the Local Is Primary fleet commander decided to close the gap between the two fleets and get on top of the Did he say Jump fleet in a gamble. Burning straight in while firing volley after volley at the smaller, nimbler strategic cruisers, Local Is Primary reduced the distance between the two fleets. Did he say Jump did not shy away, using the opportunity to burn straight towards the Local Is Primary logistics wing in order to obliterate it completely. Thus, the two fleets ended up fighting at close range, exchanging terrible blows.
At this point, the Did he say Jump fleet broke. The battleships were able to tear apart the strategic cruisers, with casualties rapidly increasing. This was done in part thanks to the many energy neutralizing battleships present in the Local Is Primary fleet which pressured the smaller logistics wing of Did he say Jump. With the distance shrinking, the many Bhaalgorn battleships of Local Is Primary simply drained the capacitor of the Did he say Jump Guardians, shutting them down. With their remote repairs silenced, the strategic cruisers themselves could offer no resistance to the battleships and were brought down.
With mounting lossesĀ and their logistics wing effectively out of commission, Did he say Jump fleet commanders had no choice but to withdraw, warping their fleet out and retreating from the system lest they’d risk its total annihilation.
Having won the battle, Local Is Primary repaired the tower, having secured both the field and the objective. Thus, with their work done, Local Is Primary and its allies safely extracted, putting an end to the fighting.
