With New Eden in the midst of a war, both sides are working tirelessly to produce propaganda videos to motivate the troops. Here is EVE News 24’s pick for the best propaganda videos in the past month:
#1 Fortress Fade by Eyeshoot Media
They say hindsight is always 20/20, and in retrospect this video of SpaceMonkey’s Alliance [SMA] proclaiming its defense of the Fade region and their commitment to one another rings false now, one shouldn’t forget the many months the alliance spent fighting to maintain its sovereignty. thus, this well made video is still worth a watch.
#2 [Eve Online] The Beginning of the Next Great War #WorldWarBee by Suddenly Spaceships
An active participant in the war against the Imperium, Suddenly Spaceships. [CYN0] created a terrific video showing the lead up and the subsequent battle of M-OEE8. Though strictly not a propaganda piece, the stunning visuals coupled with the great music and the fact it was produced by an active combatant, a beautiful video to watch.
#3 TEST Deployment Please Ignore (spring 2016) by waitingtocompile
A beautiful video showing the arrival of Test Alliance Please Ignore [TEST] forces to the front. From the region of Wicked Creek, these pilots traveled to the north of New Eden in force to wage war on those who had driven them out of their ancestral home.
#4 Pandemic Legion – World War Bee by Joachim Weiss
Not enough praise has been levied at this amazing video showcasing Pandemic Legion [-10.0]’s growing involvement in the war. From the music, the graphics to the overall style, there is just no fault to be found in this amazing video.
#5 World War Bee HONOR Teaser Trailer by Xeron Vann
Spaceship Samurai [HONOR] has been participating in the war alongside other newbie friendly alliances such as Pandemic Horde [REKTD], Brave Collective [BRAVE] and Test Alliance Please Ignore. In this teaser trailer, it showcases its Ferox battlecruiser fleet as allied fleets continue to harass the Imperium capital of Saranen in the Lonetrek region. This video also makes good use of some of the new camera options added in previous patches.
#6 Out of Sight | RISE NEW EDEN RISE by EscurKo
Out of Sight. [OOS], the Venal region resident alliance, continues to show its strength not only on the field of battle, but on the media side as well. In this beautiful video splicing old footage of EVE Online with a new soundtrack, it calls for an uprising of New Eden against the tyranny of the Imperium. The result I’ll leave the readers to judge.
#7 Predditors – Enjoy Their Beauty by Xyyx Shard
In this video, a cinematic view of the anomalies in the Guristas regions shows the utter desolation wrought by anti Imperium forces, as well as their promise to continue and hunt all members of the Imperium, all set to a haunting soundtrack.
#8 The Case for War by Jalep Malukker
Last but not least, this video combines one of the greatest speeches in the history of the modern world with the visuals of EVE Online to create one of the greatest anti Imperium propaganda pieces ever made.
