Just over two weeks ago the Money Badger Coalition [MBC] began operations to capture systems in Fade. Home to Imperium member Space Monkeys Alliance [SMA] they found them selves under ever increasing pressure from the MBC forces putting its leadership in escalating turmoil.
Since the battle of M-OEE8 the war continued to rage across all regions, with the only exception of Tenal, Fade has seen the grab for systems by the MBC forces.
Fade as of the 27th of March
As the battles for Fade raged on SMA were overwhelmed by MBC’s sheer numbers. Despite the Imperium’s best attempts to harass the entosis fleets – one by one systems fell into the hands of various alliances. Between the 27th of March and the 5th of April some 267 billion ISK in ships were destroyed, of which 163 billion ISK were losses on the side of the Imperium. 103 billion ISK were losses just to SMA.
The last 24 hours have finally seen things come to a head with internal leaks landing on Reddit at a frenzied pace. First was the revelation that Winet (who had biomassed his original characters and replaced them with new ones) had designs on taking his own corp from SMA to found a new one.
Not long after Kyle Aparthos quit the alliance and formed his own corporation and alliance. Appears his Thanotos carrier may have been AWOX’ed in the process. Even so, Kyle Aparthos’s departure was met with shock and surprise by the SMA member base. But Kyle’s departure was swiftly followed by a number of other members.

With such a drain on high-level leadership and continued pressure from the assault by the MBC does this spell the end of SMA?
