The passing weeks have supplied more than enough videos from around New Eden. From recruitment videos, fake trailers and some hilarious or tense PvP moments, these are EVE News 24’s picks for the past month:
#1 EVE Online – Force Auxiliaries First Look & Complete Stats Overview by Daegarn
A look into the new capital logistics platform – The Force Auxiliary (FAX), their different basic attributes, skill requirements as well as their unique aesthetics.
#2 My Year In Snuffed Out by Aves Enderas
A montage depicting a year in Snuffed Out [B B C] by one of its line members, showing many highlights of the alliance throughout 2015 and early 2016.
#3 R.I.P. Hyperdunking by Mevath Sagald
Hyperdunking was quite a controversial method of ganking freighters in high security space that got removed by CCP Games. This video showcases the method, allowing viewers to form their own opinion on it as well as immortalize it.
#4 Jitanomics by Mevath Sagald
Another video from Mevath Sagald revealing another facet of Jita‘s seedier side. Not just a place for gankers to hang around, Jita also houses quite a vibrant PvP community, and is one of the most violent systems in EVE Online as can definitely be seen in the video.
#5 Shadow State Eve Online by Swp Andrei
Another beautiful recruitment video, this time for the Shadow State corporation of Circle-Of-Two [CO2] alliance. This fast paced, expertly cut video syncs well with the music and produces one kick ass promotional film in my opinion!
#6 EVE Online : Singularity, Battle in 6-CZ49 by Yrrîps EK
During the 26th of February, EVE Online’s Tranquility server experienced several issues and had to be taken down. A lot of the players used this unexpected downtime to flock to the Singularity test server and fight one of the craziest super capital battles ever seen in the game and captured in this video.
#7 Capital Escalating with Noobman & friends by Jerzii
A great compilation of a series of capital kills by Hard Knocks Inc. in null security and wormhole space, featuring the illusive Drone Lands Nyx as well!
#8 EvE Online: Red vs Blue – Frigate Free For All (02/28/16) by EndlessNerd
Red versus Blue is still alive and kicking, as can be seen in this video depicting a frigate free for all event it organized. For its run time, the video shows non stop chaotic frigate action, including the many times the pilot exploded! Fun, suffice to say, was had.
#9 Eve Online: Epic Solo Triage by LTAlter
Triage pilots are some of the unsung heroes of EVE Online. Their skills and appearance on the battlefield can be the difference between a certain defeat and an unlikely victory. However, piloting a large, immobile platform has its disadvantages. This video of a battle fought in low security space shows the amount of pressure the average triage pilot must work under. Quite an educational video in my opinion.
#10 Hel Micro gang PVP – Volume.1 by MrArcheras
Another video of the famous Hel that haunts star lanes of the Amarr empire, this time a compilation of the different fights it got to through in the past. Suffice to say, many an unlucky pilot fell prey to its fighter swarms.
#11 EVEangelion by MandaloreGaming
There are few words that can describe the madness that is this video. Basically an EVE intro cut to fit Neon Genesis Evangelion intro, both in theme and to the original opening song. The result, well that I leave for the viewers to judge.
#12 Psychotic Tendencies. February 2016 In Review by Vladimir Khurelem
Last, but definitely not least, we have another monthly review of Psychotic Tendencies. [TISHU], showing its different exploits for the month of February.
