The passing week has supplied more than enough videos from around New Eden. From recruitment videos, fake trailers and some hilarious or tense PvP moments, these are EVE News 24’s picks for the past week:
#1 EVE Online – Nightmare VS FW Gang by Bob Smith
One particular Nightmare pilot attempts to defend his system from an incursion of a militia frigate gang. The violent attackers soon find out how aptly named the battleship is in this video.
#2 Sniggwaffe Presents: Hot dropping with Tor by Xiris
Black and covert ops fleets are some of the most fun activities in EVE Online and in this video the WAFFLES. [N0MAD] crew shows just how far its willing to go to get that drop.
#3 Out of Sight – Nice day by Atmosphere
Out of Sight. [OOS] garnered quite a reputation in the North of New Eden, terrorizing Imperium space and resisting invasion after invasion to its native region of Venal. In this video, some of its exploits can be seen as a small gang of its pilots takes a leisurely stroll through Imperium regions.
#4 Psychotic Tendencies. January 2016 In Review by Vladimir Khurelem
Psychotic Tendencies. [TISHU] has been harassing SpaceMonkey’s Alliance [SMA] for the past month, with much of its activity summed up in the following video.
#5 One Hole Leads to Another by Edric von Abbadon
A very nice recruitment video for Dropbears Anonymous [BAERS], reminding us all that they are still around and very much alive.
#6 No Vacancies: Black Sails and Good Fights by SmityIII
Another wormhole entity’s recruitment video, this time by No Vacancies. [NV] which shows some beautiful landscapes, as well as the deadly sights of wormhole space.
#7 The Last Minmatar – Solo faction warfare PVP by phantomfrogstudios
A beautiful compilation video of solo fights by one stubborn Minmatar pilot who chooses to battle the forces of the Amarr empire on his own.
#8 Jackdaw Tank from Hell by Goin Solo
Numbers don’t always guarantee victory, as one small gang learned on its flesh when a seemingly lonely Jackdaw proved to be far more than they bargained for.
#9 War Were Declared by Kilocuna
Sometimes when you want to declare war, you need a good video to convey it, just like this one from SpaceMonkey’s Alliance.
#10 Blaster Oracle by Guplup
Some of the craziest fights occur when players think outside of the box and find new ways to bait fights just like this unconventional Oracle fit does. As demonstrated in the video, this Oracle uses its laser-like an Anglerfish, and the prey often regrets getting close enough.
#11 Eve Online: ‘Reborn’ Simple Speed Art by zaqq
Though not technically an EVE Online video, this clip showing the creation of some of the amazing fan art that surrounds the game is quite nice to watch and lets the viewer appreciate just how much work is put into creating these beautiful images we take as granted.
#12 Another week of (attempted) ganking by Stalker Ofeveryone
A nice video of a ganker and his attempts to catch his prey. Sometimes he succeeds, and sometimes his prey outwits him. Regardless, a well-made video showing some of the most controversial sides of EVE Online.
