The information for the following article was provided by Clemintine Ellecon
Clemintine Ellecon mainly lives in the Sagain pocket (Sagain, Modun and Saminer) where he runs a few moons to provide him with a stable income. After keeping close eye on who else owns a POS in the pocket, he noticed that a new name had been coming into the pocket quite often. The new name was Clatoayur, who after a bit of investigating turned out to own a Large Dark Blood Tower in Modun, which was apparently used for ice mining operations.
After watching the POS for a bit, she was able to make a list of different characters using the POS. The list came down to an Orca pilot named Ebuthep Ayur, a Widow piloted by Ricky Mourke and Clatoayur who was flying a Pilgrim and a Mackinaw. A combination of both a Pilgrim and a Widow often means that somebody likes to fight, so Clemintine Ellecon decided to see if they would actually drop their Widow if the opportunity arose.
A bait Hyperion piloted by Pecktorum was brought into Modun, and sure enough he found himself tackled by the Pilgrim piloted by Clatoayur and as planned, the Widow pilot showed up seconds later. As soon as the Hyperion pilot was able to tackle both the Pilgrim and the Widow, he lit his cyno and a Chimera piloted by Zarnum Zeraminians jumped into system to finish them off (Widow Kill and Pilgrim Kill).
After this event went down, Clatoayur knew who had baited him but still he continued his ice mining operation. Clemintine Ellecon quickly jumped into system, warping to the ice belt as fast as he could. As spotted, the Mackinaw was still in the icebelt but the Orca had cloaked up. After killing the Mackinaw they were about to leave, however a neutral in local contacted Clemintine Ellecon with the message that he knew the Orca’s location. In turned out that he was cloaked in a belt and after hearing this, Clemintine Ellecon immediately warped to the noted location. After landing in the asteroid belt, the Orca pilot decloaked. Unfortunately for the Orca, Clemintine Ellecon was able to warp scramble him just in time. Knowing his fate, he initiated self-destruct and the Orca blew up moments later.
Clatoayur must have been pretty upset with losing his assets and so the next day he contacted Clemintine Ellecon with the question of how much it would cost not to be killed by them anymore. He offered 500 million a month but instead of giving him a response, Clemintine Ellecon asked him if it would be possible to put his cyno Procurer alt in to Clatoayur’s corporation. According to Clemintine Ellecon it would be “easier to hotdrop people if his alt wasn’t in his own corp.” As most EVE Players will realise, this offer can only cause trouble. To his suprise, Clatoayur agreed. He accepted the application and for unknown reasons immediately gave Clemintine Ellecon’s alt director roles.
This is the point in the story were the heist operation started. Using his alt, he casually started to offer Clatoayur’s corporation his freighter services. Using his freighter, he started to build trust with the corporation until it was time to spring the trap. Meanwhile, Clatoayur would continuously ask for Ricky Mourke (the Widow pilot) to be allowed into Clemintine Ellecon’s alliance to “learn PVP.” This request was always casually brushed off because Clemintine Ellecon didn’t want them to catch wind of the heist operation.
The mining operations continued and they planned to make POS fuel out of the harvested ice. Clemintine Ellecon convinced the corporation that it was a good idea to buy Minmatar ice from Emolgranlan and turn that into Minmatar fuel to make easy profits. In order to do this the corporation had to use a jump freighter. Clatoayur checked his skillplan for a jump freighter and said that it would take him 30 days to fly one. Clemintine Ellecon, who of course wanted the ISK for or the jump freighter itself, responded by saying that it would only take him 10 days. With a bit of convincing and nudging, Cleminitine Ellecon found himself sitting in Jita waiting for the corporation to send him the ISK for an Ark, the Amarrian jump freighter. According to Clemintine Ellecon, Clatoayur was still apprehensive and said: “I hope you don’t run away with all of this ISK,” then initiated the transfer.
Now, this was the moment to make a decision; either run away with about 6 billion ISK or try to see what else could happen. The decision was made to continue the operation and see where it would land them.
The last part of the operation started. Saying that he was finishing the last few skills for the Ark, he convinced Clatoayur again that it was a smart idea to put new POSs up on some of Sagain’s cobalt moons. Clemintine Elllecon explained that he owned other POSs which harvested other moon goo which they could then use to react with the cobalt to make more profits. This was purely an attempt at freeing up as many assets and as much money as Clemintine Ellecon could. Clatoayur agreed with the plan and told him to buy three Dark Blood Large Towers as well as all faction modules for them.
This was the final moment. The last night. The moment that the heist would be executed. Clemintine Ellecon told Clatoayur that he would set up the towers himself while he slept but that it would be easier for him if he had two freighters to haul. Knowing that Clatoayur still owned a freighter, he asked if he could borrow it. He agreed and placed the Fenrir in the corporation office located in Sagain. Clemintine Ellecon had collected a list of everything that needed to be stolen and as soon as Clatoayur logged off the plan sprung into action. The heist started, The corp hangers were emptied, the POSs were unanchored and after a few hours they were done.
