Last Thursday, Judas II member of Dark-Rising lost his Fiend to the hands of The REKKINGCREW.
The Fiend is a ship that was rewarded to the champions of Alliance Tournament XIII. They are Heavy Interdictor cruisers, which means that they are basically a HIC on steroids. Judas II is still to this day the top killer in the fiend and it was only a matter of time before the hunter became the hunted.
RoCkEt X had received intel about Judas II flying around in his Fiend. Scouts were sent out to find a good route from REKKINGCREW’s home to the location of the Fiend. It didn’t take long for the scouts to find a wormhole route which was good enough to use.
Fiends have a huge tank and are overall excellent PvP ships. REKKINGCREW decided to use a group of recons to maximize the likelihood of them killing the Fiend. To bait out the Fiend, REKKINGCREW had a ”bait” Hurricane already in the region, so it was only a matter of time to get in range. REKKINGCREW had everything that they needed, so they burned over to the wormhole location in Nazhgete. This wormhole would lead them directly to Enderailen, the location of the Fiend pilot.
As soon as the REKKINGCREW landed on the wormhole, their bait Hurricane started to prepare for action. He warped over to the Enderailen gate where Judas II was sitting on the gate in his Fiend. He jumped through the gate, hoping that Judas II would follow him. Enderailen was completely clear and Judas II had indeed followed the Hurricane. It was time for the REKKINGCREW to see if their plan would come to fruition.
The Hurricane pilot decloaked and sure enough The Fiend tackled him like he did to so many others. The Hurricane pilot quickly burned to the Fiend and got a scrambler on him. As soon as the Hurricane scrambled the Fiend, the Rekkingcrew fleet jumped in through the wormhole and rushed over to the gate.
Judas II tried to get out, however, the overwhelming ewar and damage from all the recons was simply to much to handle, and his Fiend went down shortly after.

With this Fiend dying it means that only 49 of them are left in New Eden. Who will be the next to lose one?
