J151909 system, E-R00028 region. In the early hours of the 4th of December, Lazerhawks [LZHX] and No Vacancies [NVACA] clashed in the system.
The battle started after Lazerhawks established a connection to No Vacancies’ home system. The two groups had fought each other in the past, and as wormhole etiquette would dictate, it was No Vacancies’ turn to bring the fight to Lazerhawks.
No Vacancies mustered nearly 40 pilots including a few capital ships and prepared to jump into Lazerhawks’ home system. Lazerhawks for its part had a 26 pilot fleet with plenty of electronic warfare and a few capitals of their own. The Lazerhawks fleet set up below the wormhole entrance at medium range and waited for No Vacancies to come forth.
No Vacancies jumped their fleet in and engaged the Lazerhawks fleet, choosing to burn their sub-capitals into the Lazerhawks formation while their dreadnoughts entered siege as they loaded the system. This turned out to be a mistake as most of the dreadnoughts were outside of their optimal range from the Lazerhawks fleet, negating much of their damage.
However, the Lazerhawks dreadnoughts were in perfect range as the No Vacancies sub-capitals approached. With stasis webifiers and target painters applied to them, the No Vacancies ships were obliterated quickly by the citadel torpedoes which slammed into their hulls with great force. First the Curse combat recons cruisers were targeted, as their energy neutralizers were considered a threat for the Lazerhawks triage carrier.
The Tengu strategic cruisers for Lazerhawks also did their part, jamming the Curses thus preventing them from having any effect in the battle. With most of the No Vacancies combat recons gone, the Lazerhawks fleet switched to the mainline ships. In rapid succession Tengus and command ships were felled by the missile barrages of the fleet.
With most of the No Vacancies fleet destroyed, the remaining ships quickly withdrew, mostly logistics ships. This left the three dreadnoughts that were still in siege on the wormhole entrance. One by one they were bubbled by interdictors and destroyed. With the last one succumbing to the firepower of the Lazerhawks fleet the battle ended.

All told the battle lasted 18 minutes from start to finish with Time Dilation not reported. Due to the fact the battle took place in wormhole space it is impossible to know how many pilots were present during the fight, but interviews and battle reports point to 75 pilots at the start of the engagement.
Lazerhawks suffered no losses in the fight while No Vacancies lost 29 ships including 3 dreadnoughts for a total of 30.25 billion ISK damage.
