EOC.TV Launches 29th with a Charity RUMBLE

October 25, 2015

Eve Online Community TV officially launches on Sunday the 29th. EOC.TV is the brainchild of it’s parent company Evil At Work and is striving to become one of EVE Online’s most recognizable media outlets. After a period of testing since it’s beta launch, version 2 of the site is coming with a number of new features and updates including:

  • Updated UI
  • EOC Streaming & Stream Import
  • Alliance & Corporation Profiles
  • Fully Customisable pages
  • Uploader overhaul, including drag and drop
  • Chat integration throughout
  • In-site mails
  • New video player
  • Tons of new features & fixes

To celebrate the new launch, the EOC.TV team have partnered with three charities (CareForKidsEve.com, BestOfUs and Plex For Good) and are planning to host what they hope to be is the largest player event in the history of EVE Online.

Each participating contestant will be put into one of four teams which in turn will have their own staging pos ‘safe zones’ to form up in. Once the form up is complete, each team will need to race to a cyno jammed  system where the main event will take place with the objective of killing a titan donated for the purposes of the event. It is worth noting however, that the ‘safe zones may not be entirely safe as they can be attacked by an opposing team. While these are protected by two carriers they will not be enough to defend them on their own. The teams will use there pos as a repair platform for their fleet as well. Each team will need to decide if they are going to go for the opposing teams ‘safe zones’ first or head straight for the Titan.
