Vey system, Placid region. On the 11th of October at 19:00 EVE Standard Time, Snuffed Out [B B C] forces engaged Spectre Fleet in the system in a bloody brawl.
The battle began after Spectre Fleet assembled a 110 Hurricane Fleet Issue Battlecruiser fleet. The force made its way to the W-4NUU system in Cloud Ring where it was rumored Imperium and Pandemic Legion [-10.0] forces were going to fight over the Station. Sadly, Pandemic Legion was nowhere to be seen while Imperium had an overwhelming presence in the system, with 2 Tengu Strategic Cruiser fleets, a Celestis Cruiser wing and a Hawk Assault Frigate fleet. Against such overwhelming odds Spectre Fleet did not wish to engage and the force quickly retreated back to the relative safety of Low Security space.
Still spoiling for a fight, contact was made with Snuffed Out, as one of their Fleet Commanders offered to fight Spectre Fleet before. Learning that the offer was still good, the Spectre Fleet force made its way to the Vey system, where Snuffed Out forces stage from. Snuffed Out formed an approximately 40 pilot Absolution Command ship fleet and set on the Intaki gate in the system, in order to allow Spectre Fleet to enter the system and load grid without trouble.
Once Spectre Fleet forces entered the system, they quickly warped to the Intaki gate, landing only 20 kilometers away from the Snuffed Out fleet. The two fleets opened fire and the fight began.
The battle proved to be a bloody affair. Snuffed Out forces were able to tank the incoming damage while obliterating the Hurricane hulls. Though the Absolutions turned out to be too tough to crack, Spectre Fleet diverted its firepower towards the support ships of the Snuffed Out fleet. These proved a lot more squishy and started to break, though Spectre Fleet traded 2-3 mainline ships for each support ship it took down.
At this point with most of the Snuffed Out support destroyed, the Spectre Fleet Hurricanes turned their guns to the Snuffed Out Logistics wing. The Guardian Logistics Cruisers of Snuffed Out were unable to tank the incoming volleys of the Hurricanes and quickly succumbed. With the danger of their entire Logistics backbone obliterated, Snuffed Out Fleet Commander quickly deployed 2 Triage Carriers on the field to supplement it.
With the Triage Carriers landing, the Snuffed Out fleet managed to stabilize itself. Spectre Fleet attempted to inflict further losses, but the damage was easily soaked by the Triage Carriers’ Remote Repairers. Managing to kill a few ships drifting out of the Remote Repairers range, it became obvious for Spectre Fleet that the time to retreat had come. Quickly, the remaining ships disengaged, withdrawing from the system and allowing Snuffed Out to claim victory.

The battle lasted 30 minutes with Time Dilation felt at the start, peaking at 60% before quickly subsiding. The system itself hosted an estimated 180 pilots at the height of the engagement.
Snuffed Out lost 15 ships, 7 of which were Strategic Cruisers for a total of 9.56 Bil ISK damage. Spectre Fleet lost 52 ships, 41 of which were Battlecruisers for a total of 7.5 Bil ISK damage.
