4-CM8I system, Scalding Pass region. On the 30th of September at 21:00 EVE standard Time, a Capital force belonging to Advent of Fate [CORD] was annihilated by forces belonging to Red Menace Coalition (RMC).
The battle began after Advent of Fate forces bridged into the 4-CM8I system with a small Dreadnought force. The target of their operation was a Jump Bridge tower belonging to Phoebe Freeport Republic [PFR]. Advent of Fate have been engaged in a long struggle with Phoebe Freeport Republic, mainly in an attempt to draw fights from the latter. Reinforcing their Jump Bridge tower was seen as a good enough motivator by Advent of Fate.
The force was estimated at 35 pilots and included Dreadnoughts, support Carriers and a small sub-capital force of Nightmare and Rattlesnake Battleships. The fleet quickly set to work reinforcing the tower, the Dreadnoughts entering their siege cycle. Advent of Fate had scouts in the surrounding area reporting on hostile movement and did spot an RMC force gathering on a titan, but believed it was headed elsewhere, focusing instead on a Test Alliance Please Ignore [TEST] force that was roaming the region and thought to be headed their way, as Phoebe Freeport Republic had called upon them in the past.
However, this turned to be a mistake. Quickly, 3 Phoebe Freeport Republic Interdictors entered the system and warped to the tower. The Dreadnoughts just finished reinforcing it and were exiting their siege cycle when the Interdictors burnt out of the tower’s shields and deployed interdiction probes, trapping them in the system. With the Dreadnoughts tackled, a cynosural beacon was lit 200 kilometers from the Advent of Fate force and into the system bridged RMC’s Machariel Battleship fleet, fresh from its engagement in PT-21C.
The Machariel fleet, estimated at 100 pilots, quickly warped into range of the Advent of Fate force and started engaging. A second cynosural beacon was lit and 5 RMC Titans entered the field. The Titans quickly fired their doomsday weapons at the Dreadnoughts, who managed to tank the incoming volleys. Advent of Fate attempted to return fire, using their Dreadnoughts in order to volley off Machariels and nearly succeeded. However they lacked proper support and with the Titans on field the Dreadnoughts quickly melted.
Things were further complicated when a Northern Coalition. [NC] force entered the fray. The force scouted the battle and decided to join in, using a wormhole chain. Thus, a 60 pilot Ishtar Heavy Assault Cruiser fleet entered the system and quickly warped on top of the Machariels, hoping to go under their guns and thus negate their tracking while engaging both fleets.
RMC forces for the most part ignored the Ishtar fleet and concentrated on decimating the Advent of Fate Capitals and sub-capitals who perished to the last putting up a brave fight. Northern Coalition. forces managed to take down a few Machariels, but with the RMC devoting their full attention to them now, stood no chance. After losing a good chunk of the fleet to the devastating volleys of the Machariels, Northern Coalition. Fleet Commander gave the order to retreat, quickly extracting from the system.
RMC, having destroyed the Advent of Fate Capital force, safely extracted to its own staging system safe and sound, ending hostilities in the region for the night.

The fight lasted nearly 30 minutes, with local at approximately 250 pilots during the peak of the fighting and Time Dilation not reported to be an issue with any of the combatants.
Advent of Fate lost 8 Dreadnoughts 2 Carriers and 14 Battleships for a total of 38.3 Bil ISK damages. RMC lost 5 Battleships for a total of 6.9 Bil ISK damage. Northern Coalition. lost 10 Heavy Assault Cruisers for a 2.8 Bil ISK damage.
