Suitonia introduced a new video yesterday on the ‘EvE is Easy’ YouTube channel.
This instalment featured my favourite ship of all time, the Rifter. This is my favourite ship for two reason, one because it looks so damn cool and secondly because I learnt to PVP and got my first ever kill (and loss) in the Rifter back in 2009.
After feedback from his last couple of ‘new player’ PVP videos, where people criticised him for giving money to the new account from his main, this character is completely self founded and self sufficient through doing around 25 hours of missions, epic arks and some AFK mining to fund the PVP side of the character.
He will also be limited by not using T2 fittings on the ship, as these would not be available to a trial character.

The video really goes into detail on the fitting and the good and the bad points of the Rifter in its current iteration. The PVP starts at around 27 minutes into the video and shows that, even using a cheap ship with limited skills, you can still be effective in solo PVP if you pick your fights and fly smart.
