8-YNBE system, Querious region. On the 18th of June, 3:00 EVE Standard Time, forces belonging to the Guardians of the Galaxy Coalition (From here on referred to as GotG) suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of Pandemic Legion [-10.0] over a Confederation of xXPIZZAXx [PIZZA] tower in the system.
The battle is a continuation of the war between the Elite Space Coalition (From here on referred to as ESC) led by [PIZZA] which controls the Delve region, and GotG who are attempting to reclaim the Querious region. The tower in question was reinforced by GotG forces, the timer set to expire in the early hours of June 18th. [-10.0] were contacted, as the possibility of GotG showing up and even deploying Dreadnoughts was high.
A plan was worked out with [PIZZA] supplying initial tackle, readying a full Interdictor squadron and getting it into place. [-10.0] for its part used a Wormhole to travel from their staging system down to Querious, bringing a 65 pilot Proteus Strategic Cruiser fleet and holding several systems away, awaiting the signal.
GotG brought a 90 pilot Armor Strategic Cruiser fleet, entering the system and warping to the tower at close range as it left reinforce mode. The fleet was allowed to shoot the tower for a while, as both [PIZZA] and [-10.0] were hoping for Capitals to be brought in. However, it seems that GotG were skittish, and apparently decided to take the tower down using sub-capitals only. Realizing that, the order was made for the [PIZZA] Interdictors to bubble the hostile fleet, and for the [-10.0] fleet to burn to the system.
The [PIZZA] Interdictors did their job well, holding the GotG fleet down and providing a warp in for the [-10.0] fleet as it entered the system. Quickly, the [-10.0] forces warped down on the trapped GotG fleet and the fight commenced. For a while the two sides brawled, with GotG having an equal number of mainline ships to the [-10.0] fleet and an edge in support ships, the Celestis Cruisers spreading dampeners on the [-10.0] Logistics ships, increasing locking time. However as the minutes ticked away it was the GotG side that was quite decisively broken, the [-10.0] fleet managing to tank the incoming damage.
Realizing early on that they were in trouble GotG forces attempted to clear tackle instead, trying to extract forces as the battle turned quickly into a massacre. Within minutes the GotG fleet was decimated, its remnants attempting to escape only to be hunted down by [PIZZA] and [-10.0].
Once the field was cleared, [-10.0] spent some time probing down stragglers before extracting safely to their staging system, leaving the mop up job to [PIZZA] who also managed to secure their tower. Thus, hostilities in the system have ended.

The system saw approximately 200 pilots in the height of the fighting, with Time Dilation not being reported as a factor. The actual battle lasted nearly 20 minutes.
GotG forces lost approximately 74 ships for an estimated total of 25 Bil ISK in damages. [PIZZA] lost 11 ships, all of which were tackle, for 0.6 Bil ISK damage. [-10.0] lost only 2 ships – 2 Interdictors for a negligible ISK sum.
All told the fighting in the South continues to be fierce, with ESC and GotG exchanging heavy blows this last few weeks. As long as the conflicts keeps on burning bright, other entities are bound to be attracted by its light, like [-10.0] who have kept their involvement in the fighting strong.
