GRHS-B system, Wicked Creek region. On the 17th of June 17:00 EVE Standard Time, Red Menace Coalition forces clashed with Pandemic Legion [-10.0] over an Infrastructure Hub timer, scoring a decisive victory over their opponents.
In the last few weeks, Test Alliance Please Ignore [TEST] and the Red Menace Coalition (From here on referred to as RMC) led by Red Alliance [RED] have clashed over towers and systems in Wicked Creek, the two attempting to decide once and for all who rules the East of New Eden. [-10.0] have been called more than once to help [TEST] in their struggle, and have reinforced the GRHS-B system, which belongs to [RED].
While the fight over the first Infrastructure Hub timer resulted in [-10.0] achieving victory, the battle on the 17th took a different turn.
As the Infrastructure Hub was coming out of its final reinforcement timer, [-10.0] assembled their signature Proteus Strategic Cruiser fleet, 65 pilots with Triage Carrier support and bridged on the Infrastructure Hub. RMC assembled a Dominix Battleship fleet, estimated at 110 pilots and bridged shorty after [-10.0], landing 200 kilometers away from the [-10.0] fleet.
The two forces attempted to warp on top of each other, but to no avail. At this point [-10.0] made its first mistake, as one Interdictor deployed an interdiction probe close to the main fleet instead of between the [-10.0] and RMC fleets, thus allowing the RMC Battleships to be dragged on top of the [-10.0] Triage Carriers. The Battleships quickly applied their Energy Neutralizers to the Carriers. With their Capacitor empty, the Carriers couldn’t activate remote repairers, leaving the [-10.0] fleet without any Logistics.
This allowed the RMC fleet to volley Strategic Cruisers. With the 3rd Strategic Cruiser lost, [-10.0] quickly realized the predicament it was in and brought 2 more Triage Carriers to the field. However, the addition of the two Triage Carriers did little to help, as the RMC Battleships were on top of them fast, neutralizing them as well while disposing of the first set of Carriers.
And yet, [-10.0] continued to fight, losing ships quickly, including several of its Fleet Commanders who were volleyed off early in the fight, adding to the confusion. At this point, the RMC Logistics anchor made a mistake and brought the RMC Logistics into close proximity to the [-10.0] Strategic Cruisers. [-10.0] snatched the opportunity and decimated the Logistics wing of RMC, giving [-10.0] the chance to finally break the Battleships’ tank.
This proved to be too little and too late. Even with their Logistics broken, RMC forces pressed on the attack, exchanging a Battleship for a Strategic Cruiser as the two sides continued to brawl. All the while, both [-10.0] and RMC reinforcements streamed in, slowly increasing the numbers on the field, though decisively to RMC’s advantage.
Finally, after a long and bloody fight, [-10.0] forces realized they were losing the fight, and beat a hasty retreat, abandoning their remaining Triage Carriers behind. RMC forces cleared the field of all hostiles and then quickly repaired the Infrastructure Hub as well as took down the [-10.0] Sovereignty Blockade Units, securing their system before returning home.
With this, hostilities in the GRHS-B system came to an end.

RMC’s battle report can be found here.
The battle saw less than 200 pilots in local, with Time Dilation not reported at all. From start to finish, the battle took 40 minutes to conclude.
[-10.0] suffered a heavy defeat, losing 5 Archon Carriers and 35 Strategic Cruisers, resulting in 45 Bil ISK of damage. In contrast, RMC lost 39 Battleships, for only 14 Bil ISK damage.
It seems as though [-10.0] had underestimated its enemy, or perhaps went into battle ill prepared, which explains the heavy losses it sustained. From RMC’s side, it managed not only to score a victory against [-10.0], but to defend its sovereignty successfully.
Whether this will begin a trend or is a mere anomaly in [-10.0]’s streak of victories, is yet to be seen. Regardless, many across New Eden were happy to see [-10.0] falter for the first time in months, celebrating its defeat.
