Hallanen system, Black Rise region. On the night of the 18th of May, Snuffed Out [B B C] clashed with the Gallente Militia (referred to as GalMil) supported by Did he say Jump [JMP-N], Northern Coalition. [NC] and Tribal Liberation Force (referred to as TLF). The fight spiraled out of control, involving alliances such as Black Legion. [MEN.] and Pandemic Legion as well, resulting in [B B C] losing half their Slowcat (Archon Carriers) fleet.
In the last 2 weeks, [B B C] and GalMil have locked horns, with entities such as [JMP-N] and Shadow Cartel [SHDWC] intervening, all sides fielding Capitals and Super Capitals freely. The main points of conflict seem to have been the moons and towers located in Black Rise, where both entities live and operate. Last night a tower belonging to GalMil and apparently containing a Titan used by the militia was reinforced by [B B C] in Hallanen, prompting GalMil to call out for allies and prepare a desperate defense of the tower.
[B B C] knew of GalMil’s preparations, spotting them move Dreadnoughts in preparation for the tower’s defense, and chose to bring a Proteus Strategic Cruiser fleet with 2 Triage Archon Carriers, as well as having a full Slowcat fleet (27 Archons) and their Super Carrier fleet (17 total) on standby and in range of the system. The Proteus fleet had set up on the tower, hoping that by showing up they would force GalMil to respond. The plan worked and GalMil and [JMP-N] brought an armor Battleship fleet, supported by Triage Carriers. Seeing the large Battleship fleet and its Triage support on their directional scanners, [B B C] jumped in their Slowcat fleet as the two forces engaged.
With [B B C] committing their Slowcat fleet, GalMil and [JMP-N] brought in their Dreadnought force (25 pilots) and started focusing on the [B B C] Archons, a couple of which were destroyed due to late broadcasts or lack of notice due to pilots multiboxing. At this point [B B C] counter escalated, logging in their Super Carriers and jumping them on the field as well. The Super Carriers started targeting the Dreadnoughts, melting them one by one.
SuperCarriers, Slowcats and Dreadnoughts Tangled Together in the Fight
After an intense exchange, the number of Dreadnoughts on the field lessened, allowing the [B B C] Archons to tank with greater ease, prompting the GalMil Capitals to withdraw, with several Dreadnoughts jumping out. Thus, [B B C] turned their attention to the Triage Carriers, managing to destroy 3 but stopping short of the last one, which allowed GalMil and its allies to keep fighting on the grid.
A few moments after the [B B C] Super Carriers committed to the battle, [NC] which was informed by GalMil of the battle and had a Wormhole connection to its staging in the system, brought a large Proteus Strategic Cruiser fleet of its own, with a large number of Heavy Interdictors. The Heavy Interdictors quickly spread points on the [B B C] Super Carriers. A mad dash was made by [B B C] to clear the Heavy Interdictors off the field, managing to free its Super Carriers while the sub-capital and Slowcat fleets continued to brawl. With their Super Carriers free, [B B C] jumped them out, but kept the Slowcat fleet on grid, as it was able to tank and wishing to continue the fight.
The Battle from [NC]’s PoV
This turned out to be a mistake, as more Heavy Interdictors were brought to the field, and other entities who caught wind of the battle, such as [MEN.] and Pandemic Legion made it to the system. Facing such great numbers, the Slowcats were unable to tank the incoming damage, and started to lose one by one. Those that could and were not tackled, jumped out, but many others were caught and decimated. Reports of pilots ejecting from Carriers to save their pods (Due to the high Time Dilation, session changes can cause lag which would allow them to be podded) and others self destructing them instead of waiting to be killed abound.
With the tower saved and [B B C] forced out of the system, the different parties disengaged, ending the hostilities.

[B B C] battle report can be found here.
Due to scarcity of reports and reliable figures, it is believed that the system hosted 620 pilots near the end of the fighting. Time Dilation was reported, nearing 10% and being a constant factor in the fighting. The battle itself raged for nearly 2 hours.
Numbers are quite sketchy due to the involvement of so many alliances and coalitions, but it is apparent that [B B C] lost 36 ships and half of their Slowcat fleet, for a total of 63Bil ISK of damages. GalMil and its allies lost no less than 94 ships, more than half of their Dreadnought force, for a total of 61 Bil ISk of damages. Third parties’ damages are negligible, 28 ships and 1 Bil of ISK damage.
The fight itself represented another one in a long line of battles between Low Security space entities, who are often overlooked as most of the focus is given to Null Security space politics and war. However this is a pleasant reminder that even in the twilight zone between High Sec and Null Sec, bloody wars are fought, in a ferocity and magnitude that can shame their Null Sec counterparts.
