Earlier today a Nyx class super carrier was killed by Against All Authorities [.-A-.] in the 6BPS-T system of Catch. The Nyx in question was piloted by Gar’ka Plushkina of the Carebear Group of Bishkek [.CGB.] in Happy Cartel [HAPPY] alliance.
According to GeneralGree of the Black Aces [81DIV] corporation the following occurred:
So for past few days we have been monitoring all station systems in Catch. We noticed Happy Cartel sbus in 6BPS-T which was extremely strange since they live so deep into Stain. Once we got eyes in system and saw a solo Nyx reinforcing the i-hub we moved dictors nearby. He then warped to a safe spot but we managed to probe it. He logged off so we set up a trap with 4 dictors logged off at his safe spot. The rest is history as he logs back in several hours later and went pop. He died so fast our remaining caps couldn’t get there fast enough.

The reason for this apparent solo operation is unclear as the pilot from [HAPPY] has yet to respond. Fortunately for [.-A-.] the pilot had no support and was clearly unsafe with it’s use as there was no attempt at scouting before it returned to system. The fitting used was clearly for the purpose of maximum damage on the i-hub which is usually a job for an entire group to do so in any short space of time, which also lead to it’s quick demise adding to the total of 15 super carriers killed prior to this event.
