Following on from our previous article announcing the return of the so called Pirate Coalition, we have had an update submitted to us by alliance executor Benzmann of the invalid [-N.A] corporation.
His statement is as follows:
Pirate Coalition has been Reborn.
We are proud to say that we are active again.
We have established a solid alliance structure and we have gained some really great PVPers in the past 7 days since our rebirth. In the first four days, the alliance grew to over 100 members and we are expecting more corps to join us in the upcoming weeks.We’ve had some fun in the past days with terrorizing the locals.
Recently four of us went out in brawling Navy Omens, with no logistics or backup and we came across a 25 man frigate gang. Initially we weren’t going to engage them, but we all know how group pressure works. We ended up warping to them, and things went just as I’d imagined. The frigate fleet were all anchored on their FC, and the FC MWD’d back and forth with his “F1 Monkeys” following.It was hilarious to watch and we ended up only killing one of them, but it was a useless fight so we disengaged and warped out without losing a single ship. It was amazing though, because out of all 25 frigs, not a single one of them managed to hold an effective tackle on us. After we warped out, the FC of the frigate fleet started taunting us in local like a fat six year old, that didn’t get his Snickers that day, even though we were outnumbered more than six to one.
But this is a perfect example on what Pirate Coalition stands for, we don’t play that “F1 Monkey” bullshit. We play it by the ear. We fight against the odds. We fly solo, duo and small gang because that, for us, is the most exciting way to play Eve.
I find it sad to see that there are some really good PVPers out there, that are stuck with playing the “F1 monkey” game. Many of them are overqualified for that type of shit play-style, and we encourage those folks to come sign up with us as we start to curb stomp those bigger fleets once again!
We strictly play the game for fun, we have no interest in structure grinding, nor gaining SOV.
We have no singular home system, we are spread around eve.
It’s easy to find a fleet to join wherever you are.
We are players that like the “Pirate” gamestyle, we are ore thieves, griefers and extorters.We are here to stay.
As with before with the existing coalitions in place focussing around the on going battles in nullsec I do wonder what this revived entity hopes to achieve. However at least it shows that they are developing and growing as planned and that there are pilots out there who continue to try and make it on their own in New Eden anyway they can.
