The Northern Coaliton invasion of Fountain has largely been stalled by the CFC blueballing everything that is not a important timer. While many players may question this strategy, the CFC has made it very clear that this will be their policy. The CFC is determined to hold on to Fountain as it is one of the richest areas of the game and keeps the pockets of their members full. This move shows that the CFC is determined to win, not to have fun at the moment. Whether this will continue indefinitely or only until “fozziesov” or a future event is unknown. Nonetheless this move has caused internal tensions to rise, something that could lead to disastrous consequences.
(8:37:00 PM) atrum_veneficus: nour_samy: we win wars
(8:37:07 PM) atrum_veneficus: we don’t win ‘gud fites’
(8:37:29 PM) atrum_veneficus: if there’s no timer to win, or no timer to create, we provide no content to elite pvp
(9:28:29 PM) reagalan: So.
Earlier today I had a domifleet with 230 dudes and great comp, full boosts, triage, fuckloads of capital support, 170 FYF support, 110 ishtar support, and bomber support. I had twice what the hostiles had in a doctrine that countered them. I could have jumped right into them while they were set up and wrecked their face earlier today. Why didn’t I?
Because the hostiles wanted me to do that. They wanted a fight. They would have lost that fight, but they would have got a fight. They would have gotten a handful of kills, and we would have gotten about an equal number in return.
But that isn’t the way we do things, and it never will be. I don’t want to give the enemies a single fucking inch of what they want. Not one bit. They either get helldunked or blueballed. There is no middle ground.
You have two options: get with the program, or fuck off and go join some elitepvp fuckfest who care about kill death ratios instead of playing the objective..
The fact being that this war is a defensive war for the CFC, they have no motivation to fight BL and N3. They simply want to return to peacetime where they can pick their fights from any number of targets across the map. It remains to be seen if this war in Fountain will continue. At the moment N3 shows no signs of letting up. Will this war continue? Let us know in the comments.
