Around mid-evening on the 19th of March 2015, in the Perrigen Falls system of B9N2-2, a Nyx class super-carrier piloted by Torin Aivoras of the Alternate Allegiance corporation Journey.. [FABL3] was destroyed by pilots of the corporation Hard Knocks Inc. [HRDKX], a known wormhole and nullsec entity which leads the alliance Hard Knocks Citizens [HKRAB].
The actions of this Nyx pilot are highly questionable, and the pilot was apparently being targetted for at least a month by the pilots of [HRDKX]. His ship and pod were both destroyed without a single loss being sustained by the attackers, and according to all available intelligence the pilot logged off immediately after this loss and has not been seen since. NoobMan, Director of Operations and Diplomat for [HRDKX] took the time to sit down with Lyric Masters of Eve News24 and this is what he had to say:
EN24: We at EN24 have received reports that the Nyx pilot in question, Torin Aivoras, was alone and shooting a Player Owned Customs Office (POCO), and that he was flying solo with no assistance, can you comment on that?
NoobMan: “Yes, we’d been tracking this pilot for at least four weeks, including almost catching him three weeks ago! The way he flew his Nyx was extremely questionable. We would observe him warping to a safe in system, and assigning fighters to his ratting alts while staying aligned to his POS.
As far as him being alone, we think he had perhaps 3-4 Oracles with him, but nothing landed on grid with us the entire fight. The entire route from our wormhole was clear with no one in local to report our activities, so we pinged for a fleet.”
NoobMan then provided me with the following bit of intel, which has had confidential alliance information redacted:
As you can see from the above intel, the call to arms was sent out at 15:54 Eve Time and by 16:28 thanks were being sent for the great kill.
I asked NoobMan if there was anyone specifically in [HRDKX] who deserved special recognition for this kill, and if there was any further information on the kill that he could provide.
“We had watched the Nyx’s logins and had noticed that he had moved. We took advantage of a locator agent and we found him alone, shooting POCOs. He did not make any request for assistance in any of the intel channels. He logged off immediately after the fight and we have not seen him online since, we think he was embarrassed.”
[HDRKX] would like to recognize sHanQ Myteia and Shadow Wyrm. sHanQ Myteia, who was responsible for all the stalking and hunting! Also, Shadow Wyrm set up our fleet and moved the dread and the cyno. I FC’ed the sub-capital fleet and helped with initial tackle with a Sabre alt.”

I wished NoobMan and his alliance the best of luck and continued success and went looking for comment from the other corporation and alliance in question, Journey. of Alternate Allegiance [ALTS] alliance.
I spoke briefly with XxSpAwN3RxX, who introduced himself as acting CEO of Journey. He provided me with the following statement:
“I thank you for your time and efforts on this report. As of this moment, we don’t have the intel and story from our fellow pilot as we know he has not logged back in. So, unfortunately I don’t have a statement ready for you at this time.”
XxSpAwN3RxX said he would be in touch with an official statement regarding this loss after they had time to converse with their pilot, so be sure to check this space for further updates if and when they come in.
This is now the seventh Super to fall since the beginning of March to go along with several Titans and was proceeded by this Aeon loss less than 12 hours earlier. It looks like the bad month for capital pilots continues…
