From all indications this years CSM voting activity has seen a marked improvement over the previous year. It is without a doubt, that last years CSM voting results were some what of a disappointment. CSM IX total vote dropped from 49,702 for CSM VIII to 31294 for CSM IX, which was a fall of 37%, and was probably an overall indication of Player ‘Engagement’ in the process, and indeed, Eve as a whole.
Does this year show any change? Early indications show that indeed voting is up on last year. In a tweet from CCP Leeloo she tweets
This is an approximate uplift of 31% over last years, but still not quite enough to show a recovery from two years ago, even so, it shows that there is a marked improvement in the engagement of players and a renewal in faith with the CSM.
Who is going to win? We don’t know, but be sure to vote before the polls close on the 10th if you want to ensure your prefered candidate has a chance to get on this years council.
