Recently Kenshin. has announced it’s departure from Northern Coalition. to DARKNESS., which means that they will still remain blue as part of a N3 alliance.
The apparent reason for this move is a lack of activity and leadership not being active enough to encourage their members to assist in alliance operations. They had the option to merge with a corporation still remaining in Northern Coalition. but due to their training corp being in Gentleman’s.Club they chose to move to DARKNESS.
Alliance leader of NCDOT, Vince Draken, posted the following on their internal forums:
Evening,
Some may know some may not, Kenshin. are going to be leaving NCDOT. They will be joining Darkness who are one of our blues to figure their own shit out and follow a slightly different path than we do here.
I’d like to wish them the best of luck with their future. They have had hard times internally recently with inactivity and some leadership busy irl but it’s good to see them not giving up when shit goes bad. Please help them where you can with moving their assets over to darkness which you can expect to happen this weekend.
Fly safe gentlemen

Dafarr Maul, Director and second in command of Kenshin., had the following to say:
Since we joined NC. our active corp numbers have gone down the drain. When we joined we could get 20-30 guys in a fleet in AUTZ easy. With very strict NC. recruitment, we found it hard to fill the ranks for the guys going inative. Vince and NC. leadership treated us well while we were there and gave us time to try and recover to what we had been when we joined. The membership we have now is still good but not strong enough. We are just glad to be leaving on good terms.
Kenshin will now have to deal with a difference in procedures and styles as well as no longer having the blue safety net from Pandemic Legion as the only remaining N3 alliance they have blue is Northern Coalition.
With D00M merging into Burning Napalm, The Ankou and Enterprise Estonia merging into The Northerners and the possibility of Kenshin joining another corporation it clearly shows that they are trying to cut down on excessive amounts of leadership and inactive members throughout the alliance in general. It will be interesting to see where the next merger comes from.
