Last night was time to fill up the SRP wallet once again, so plexing started late EUTZ.
First site went off without a hitch, but when First Triage was in warp to the second site a new sig popped up.
Carrier was called to go into triage anyway while the sig was being scanned down. Dreads and subcaps were called to warp to First Triage when the sig was confirmed to be a Wormhole.
When the scanner landed on grid with the new Wormhole, 3 LZHX Sabres jumped through, warped to the site and started bubbling while their massive fleet of T3’s and Guardians jumped through from the incoming Wormhole.
Ragepings and Whatsapp was widely abused to get people in game and luckily lots responded.
With about 10 dreads on field, calls were made to get as many Loki’s on field as possible to actually make the dreads usefull. Top it off with couple of Bhaals and second Triage (which was gloriously bumped 55k) and our fleet was complete.
After fighting off the first LZHX wave we went back to clearing out Sleeper Battleships to remove some of the dps from field. The occasional Sabre warped in and left us wondering if more was coming.
The silence in local chat was broken by LZHX saying there was more coming. FC made the call to keep everything on field. Minutes later a T3/Guadrian fleet consisting of LZHX and Hard Knocks jumps in and warp directly back into the site.
Luckily everyone stayed on grid so we were ready for more. FC’s top notch target calling made quick work of the second wave and we came out victorious. GF’s were traded in local and one of my best days in EVE was ended by them warping off grid.
So, huge thanks to Lazerhawks and Hard Knocks for bringing it, twice. We had a lot of new guys with us and you gave them a taste how wonderful Wormhole PVP can actually be.
As for TLC, props for everyone involved and staying on grid with your shiny ships after the FC made the call to not leave the site. And a huge shout out to our FC for some great FC’ing! 🙂
