During the evening of 15th November EVE time a Hel belonging to The BlackListdot was destroyed by a Shadow Cartel Ishtar Fleet.
Well, that’s what it would seem if you only read the killmail. This Hel, instead of being the victim of a giant killmail-whoring fleet comprised of everyone within 30 jumps, decided to fall on his own sword and self-destructed his super to deny any more enemy pilots whoring on his super’s death.
When reached for comment the Hel pilot, Admiral Jaris Dodonna, had this to say
“ Since August 2014, we and our allies have decided to start a guerilla war against Shadow Cartel and their allies, to break their might over countless POCOs in Low-sec and destroy Shadow Cartel itself. It wasn’t the first Capital ship to die, but it was the first Super on our side.
I tripleboxed with the super and two other characters, a bomber shooting the POCO and another with a new one. It was my fault, i realized too late that they had a 100mn Loki on outside the Shields bumping me. So i decided to do it the Japanese way: Kill myself(self destruct) to avoid killmail whores to get on the Kill mail.”

According to the comments, the Hel was not Ratting, but was assigning fighters to whoever was shooting the POCO, which in this case was the Hel pilot himself on a different character.
I have sent mails out to Mr Popovic and other Shadow Cartel pilots involved but still am awaiting comment. I will update this space when I hear back.
