Just moments ago, Snuff Box managed to score a Goonswarm Federation wyvern kill in Archee
I contacted Snuff box FCs who redirected me to Col Deathstroke, who was the pilot that made the initial tackle. He told us that he noticed a Goonswarm Federation alt scouting Archee in a cloaky badger. After doing that, they observed his return in a cyno Ibis.
Col Deathstroke knew that he had a POS in the system that included a hanger filled with a plain hauler and a Broadsword heavy interdictor. With this knowledge, he told his scout to get into the plain hauler and pretend to fuel the tower. As soon as the Goonswarm Federation alt would light his cyno, the Scout would jump into the Broadsword, warp to the cyno and tackle whatever came through it. The trap was set, and now it was time to wait for the cyno Ibis to light the way to something big’s impending doom.
Moments passed, and suddenly the Ibis indeed lit his cyno, The scout quickly swapped over to Broadsword and warped to the cyno. In warp, he noticed a Wyvern on dscan and started preparing to tackle upon landing. He landed, and the Wyvern was still there, so he quickly achieved point.
To play it safe, Col Deathstroke had informed Snuff Box about a possible shiny kill. After achieving tackle, a cyno was lit. Snuff Box jumped in with their blackops fleet and overwhelmed the Goonswarm Federation Wyvern with DPS resulting in it dying moments later
