The first of our expansion sites is here! We are happy to announce Hack N’ Smash. The spirit of Hack N’ Smash is to share our passion for Sci-fi & Gaming Culture in general.
Hack N’ Smash is a gamble since EVENews24 strength resides in it niche appeal. There is a ton of extremely interesting content that we would like share with our readers and on top of that contribute with interesting articles of our own.
If you like Comic Books, sci-fi, awe-inspiring games and such; Hack N’ Smash is for you.
As I mentioned in a previous site update, Hack N’ Smash is a complete different operation to EN24 that means that we won’t be sharing the writing staff for the time being. I say this to assure our readers that the stream of EVE Online news won’t be affected at all.
Regarding the in-site integration, you can see we added a network bar at the top, and syndicated posts sandwiched in between EN24 posts:
Our interest is also to provide our readers with something to read in their spare time beyond internet spaceships. Just as it happened with EN24, HnS will shape itself to cater the preferences of the EN24 readership.
As you can see, I modified the code after some feedback to make it look “less-spammy”, which is the case with HnS as it being content rather than a promotion.
