Today, a Nulli Secunda Erebus piloted by sceadaa died to the hands of Shadow Cartel.
Shadow Cartel noticed earlier this month that Sceadaa had reinforced one of Shadow Cartel’s remote POCO’s.Following this their FC’s started to track down alts of Sceadaa, using killboards and found out that he was flying an Erebus. This now became their new target and so Sceadaa was quickly located. Shadow Cartel alts were flown over to his location so they could keep track of him. One of these pilots alts is owned by Asakura Manji, who is one of the guys key to getting this kill. Once in the system they found the Erebus sitting inside his POS, after hours, they could only come to the conclusion that Sceadaa, wouldn’t act with any others in local. So a few scouts went home, but Asakura Manji stayed anyway.
After days of doing nothing, Asakura Manji noticed after a few days that the Erebus had seemed to have jumped out to another location. This let him to think that the Erebus pilot had maybe got enough of the strangers and found new structures to shoot. A locate was run on Sceadaa’s Erebus, and Asakura Manji went hunting in pursuit.
In this new system the Erebus had been parked at a “safe spot” in space, making it a perfect target. Asakura Manji burned back home, jumped in his probing HIC’s and began his wait once again.
It took two days for Sceadaa to log back in but Asakura Manji was ready, quickly pinging his alliance for dreadnoughts while probing for Sceadaa. He managed to get a hit with his probes and warped over. As soon as he landed he decloaked the Erebus, pointed it and lit his cyno. His alliance mates had by now jumped in their dreads and jumped in resulting in a killmail worth a whopping 160 billion isk!

sceadaa > My titan was stationed near Ansasos, due some Bridging for Corp so we are able 2 attack some lowsec moongo towers

sceadaa > i’m currently rarely online due some important real life stuff, so my CEO phoned me and sad that the next patch will be a bad one for titans and i should move it,- better yesterday- to kheram
sceadaa > well 4 days ago i started to move and decide to log off in Namaili because kheram was full of neuts
sceadaa > today, after a hard day of work und struggling with some things a came online, and decided to jump to kheram.
Sceadaa > alright, i logged in, and immediately saw combat scanner probes and informed my corpmate about that
sceadaa > I landed on my save, and cloaked
sceadaa > after, like 10 minutes, I saw an Onyx in my overview and noticed that he will land at 0,
sceadaa > I decloaked, dropped a mobile depot and refitted two tank, (I didn’t think about my shield tank set)
sceadaa > alright, my heart was beating like crap, and I joint Canaris in his TeamSpeak channel and told him about my bad situation -by now tackeld
Sceadaa > I opened a fleed, and ask if I should light my cyno
sceadaa > Canaris: No, a shout cyno is better
sceadaa > alright, the fleet formed and my armor was dropping
sceadaa > I didn’t notice the cynoinhibitor (misplay by me -.-)
sceadaa > so my titan entred struckture

sceadaa > the one time I didn’t use a scout went wrong – this time
sceadaa > I should lit the cyno immediately when I noticed an onyx
sceadaa > but, I’m quite fine with my loss, I’m going to buy an Avatar next week or so,
sceadaa > It’s eve, it should be fun,
sceadaa > and to be honest, losing this titan, was the one thing I had to do to end my eve online checklist
sceadaa > I died in a well-fitted titan, in honor of my Corp
Will this be the first of many titan pilots coming back to the game to move to a better location? Time will tell but Im hyped!
