1. Introduction
– First State of the Coalition address since DD disbanded.
– Thank our members for sticking with us in times not only tumultuous within our community, but also the eve community as a whole.2. Last few months overview
– Quick summary of external events (i.e. move to G-ME2, war in north catch, etc…)
– Three main issues facing our coalition today (Low activity, no growth, and no money).
– Low Activity – more fun fleets with good fights, get FCs and Members active and in fleets.
– No Growth – New coalition services coming soon. Coalition multimedia resources (i.e. logo). New standardized recruiting platform for coalition member alliance usage. And more!
– No money – We need to take moons. We can’t solve this problem realistically without first solving problems one (low activity) and two (no growth).
– Much progress has been made already! Consistent fleet numbers throughout the day and smooth adoption of all doctrines currently in use. Better cohesion. It’s a beautiful thing, but it’s not perfect yet.3. Activity
– More fleets!!! Fun to be had all day in catch. If you form, moas will come. Sacrifice to moa god is needed to keep us alive!
– North Catch has lots of content (except recent week or so as Brave stopped shooting provibloc structures all together)
– Temp blue with provibloc to make things easy (will only last a few more weeks at most, will reset after next week if braves do not start shooting structures again. However we will negotiate blue standings with provi again if brave go on offensive and we have good timers).
– If you are an fc and want to get involved, TALK TO YOUR ALLIANCE FCS/EXECS. They will get you sorted out!
– Keep joining fleets whenever you can, all of our FCs are focused on getting fights above everything. Chances are usually we get them!4. Growth
– Eve is changing – the old ways don’t work anymore. Get over it. Goodbye mailing lists and non-essential in-game channels.
– New Coalition IT services – Jabber with rooms (!), coalition teamspeak where everyone should be because that’s where the parties happen (vurionek drunk on apple juice), and a secure beautiful auth to make it all tick.
– Various other alliance tools used by corp ceos, FCs, and alliance execs to make up for current communication gaps.
– Introduce new Stainwagon logo.
– It is important to be receptive to new members joining our alliances. New services will have standardized recruiting platform to facilitate and maintain a “coalition standard of recruiting”.
– Looking for dudes with experience in marketing, public relations, corporate social responsibility, and multimedia.5. Money
– NC. Currently holding moons not to get isk from them, but simply for the sake of making sure we do not have them – carrier blob makes things hard.
– A few weeks ago we managed to take several high end moons during the transfer process from now ex-NC. Corp to the lesser NC. Corp (Kenshin). Killed some carriers. It was hilarious.
– Moons were taken back by NC.
– We need more people and more experienced, active FCs to take the moons! Right now it seems rough, but it can easily be done! If you guys want moons, we need to get more (quality) members.
– System for distributing moons after they are taken has been generally agreed upon by all alliance leaderships. In the meantime, no special emphasis on who owns the moons will be made. Who cares who owns the moon, as long as it’s one of us!6. Titans
– Graham Jackson’s titan was not replaced. Much anger.
– Log off and unsubscribe.
– CCP’s response to this issue has made it clear they do not want us to use our titans for bridging fleets in the fashion that is required. So naturally there is no need for them and you shouldn’t waste your precious isk or RL $ for subscription payments.
– Boycott Titan bowling mechanic. If CCP replaces the avatar and comes up with some kind of solution for this exploit, we can then consider logging back in our titans.
– Coalition social responsibility to the game and the community
