We from EN24 are intrested to hear the voice of the players, so we contacted some of the teams and they agreed to give us their view on the fights!

Update #1 : some captains simply don’t have time to respond because of the heavy schedule, we will do our best to stay up to date though!
The Afterlife vs Exodus match:
Bobmon > So again, A tough enemy to fight, Exodus, one of the old AT alliances that we have seen do very well!
Were you worried?
Zumzat > yes, massively worried
Zumzat > but again, our pilots did everything exactly as they we told by FC and that is usually the key to victory
Bobmon > You started out blapping ships of the field. did this give you the confidence boost that won you the match or was there something else?
Zumzat > lets say, we knew how to play against gila setup which Exodus fielded a lot and they did field it this time
Bobmon > you said your team is working together strongly, hows the schedule been and how are the guys taking it?
Zumzat > todays schedule is quite intense, but our guys hold just fine
Zumzat > it’s quite hard considering ru tz is a few hours later than CET, but final weekend is worth it
First Match:
Bob = What do you overall think about the fight?
zumzat = it was very sweaty
zumzat = I have a fucking sweat puddle in my chair 😀
Bob = What were you expecting before going in?
zumzat = expected just what we faced and fielded a setup with 100 dps more 😀
Bob = but on a serious note? Where you worried before going in? seing that SC had almost beat PL
zumzat = we almost beat PL too, so we expected close match and close match it was
zumzat = unfortunately lag fucked that match up
Bob = What do you think swung the fight?
Bob = The fits / the ships / actual flying methods?
zumzat = I think the piloting did. We killed all the ships we needed to kill in time
zumzat = then we knew the nominal dps rule will take place
Bob = So the match came down to a 1vs1! How tense was coms and what were you guys thinking
Zumzat = very tense when TIDI hit the arena. everyone was yelling at our golem “COME DUDE CARRY THIS MATCH FOR US!” But in the end of the day bastion golem vs bastion golem can’t kill each other, and the cargo space for boosters is huge
Triumvirate. Vs TNT
Bobmon > TNT been a wild card, Did you expact them to be a tough enemy or where you confident?
StarFleetCommander > they have copied pls setups
StarFleetCommander > but we went in nervous
StarFleetCommander > we knew the setup they brought was good
Bobmon > The match came to a point where the golem just needed to kill all the small ships to win. Was this a point that you got worried that he would be successful?
StarFleetCommander > hmm
StarFleetCommander > we had some light bots

First Match
StarFleetCommander > i got another match in like 30 mins

Bobmon > What was the general feeling before going into this match?
StarFleetCommander > well it was like 1h 30 mins wait
StarFleetCommander > so i got bored
StarFleetCommander > lol
StarFleetCommander > but calm

Bobmon > was there anything major that swung the fight?
StarFleetCommander > 3 oh our guys flew out of arena
StarFleetCommander > so that was interesting
Bobmon > is there any kind of punishment for pilots that fly out?
StarFleetCommander > your a scrub

Bobmon: what was the feeling in your team before entering the matches?
ShamisOrzoz: nervous
ShamisOrzoz: we had no idea what to expect
Bobmon: So you had two setups that were new to this tourney to be seen, did you choose this specifically to Nullie because you wanted to catch them off guard or?
ShamisOrzoz: Yes
Bobmon: Did you have any ideas what type of setups they would bring
ShamisOrzoz: No idea
ShamisOrzoz: figured they would bring something to counter what we brought last week
Bobmon: After the first match, What was the general feeling for the next matches?
ShamisOrzoz: Morale is very high. We have done a lot of work this year, and I feel like we’re in a very strong position.
Bobmon: was their anything happening on fields that is sorta public accessible but that might not have caught the attention of the commentators?
ShamisOrzoz: Not that I know of really. I think the commentators are doing a better job than most years.
Bobmon: What is your overall feeling for the tourney so far and your position in it
ShamisOrzoz: I think this is the most competitive tourney they’ve ever had. There are a lot of good teams. We are doing our best to stay ahead of the meta, but it is difficult.
