Recently an Avatar class titan belonging to TheJackalMiner exploded to the hands of the corporation L F C, member of Ethereal Dawn and assorted friends.
According to KillerCorp of L F C, the top damage dealer on the kill, his corp member Lindze spotted him on scan and noticed he was warping from station to gate and back again before just stopping on the Mastakomom gate in Eruka.
As soon as this was noted KillerCorp quickly logged in a Heavy interdictor alt and headed over to the gate to acquire initial tackle. A friend of his in another HIC arrived and they both held him for about 5 minutes whilst acquiring as many dreads together as possible, contacting all friends online at the time, and cyno’d on to him to begin applying damage.
Apparently he did not move at all so it is hardly surprising that it only took one siege cycle to finish him off as the fit in use was not exactly designed to last under sustained damage, with the killmail found here.
KillerCorp would like to thank Lindze for the initial tackle and his assorted friends who quickly came to assist.
An interesting thing to note is the fact that the character was apparently up for sale within the last 24 hours. Could this be a sale gone ary? I doubt we will ever know. One thing for sure is with the Revenant Event in just a few hours it looks like it could be another expensive night to be a pilot in Eve Online.
