Pandemic Legion, Triumvirate and Hydra Reloaded agreed upon giving a statement after their matches. These statements are going to be posted in this thread! Is your team competing too then I welcome you to give your statement so that we can show what the actual warriors on the field thought off the fight!
Bobmon: What did you think when you saw the enemy ships? Was there any reason why their was split damage? and what do you think overall of this match? did anything happen that you never expected
Ryu_Chaos: we saw it was a tinker we were already on neut range so decided to stay on them and apply neuts
Ryu_Chaos: way too many drones and we could only fight with drones
Ryu_Chaos: we pulled some range on support try to keep them alive
Ryu_Chaos: what we should have done is pull a bit range and kill their drones because they were using geckos so they didn’t have that much, but they are quite tanky
Ryu_Chaos: we couldn’t outneut their team cause way too many cap transmitters
Bobmon: Hey so for the captain Feedback, What did you think of the fight? Mid fight PL appeared to be in a bad situation what happened that swung it around? Were you surprised at what the enemy brought and what was your mindset going into this match?
ShamisOrzoz: I was surprised that they brought a tinker
ShamisOrzoz: and the tinker should have countered our setup well
ShamisOrzoz: but luckily we have some excellent pilots that got great bumps on some of their ships
ShamisOrzoz: which broke the tinker
ShamisOrzoz: I bumped the lokii and Sala/Dancul bumped the golem the other way. It was miraculousBobmon: What was your mindset going into this match?
ShamisOrzoz: worried
ShamisOrzoz: I studied this team quite a bit, and I believe they are one of the best teams in the tournament.
ShamisOrzoz: Easily one of the top 10 teams, possibly top 5.
Duncan Tanner > A bit more nervous than usual as always in the first match of a tournament, but still fairly relaxed
Duncan Tanner > No their setup wasn’t a surprise, many teams have been running similar setups – we knew what we needed to do as soon as the ships appeared on scan
Duncan Tanner > I think one of the main things that gives us an edge over other teams is our decision making and execution, I think that’s what got us the win
