Yesterday the sov in YHN-3K dropped which sparked a fight between BNI and Stainwagon.
YHN-3K is very close to Stain and so Stainwagon decided to try and provoke a fight. Stainwagon quickly rage formed Ishtar’s, prepared a deathstar POS pack and covert cyno’s. A cloaky hauler was bridged in with the POS pack and immediately anchored the POS.
When the tower started to online, Stainwagon decided to jump their by now 70 man ishtar fleet. Their first objective was to get rid of the 2 TCUs on station. While shooting these TCUs, Stainwagon managed to get their own POS up and started onlining their own TCUs.
The last TEST TCU was located on a POS full of EWAR and Stainwagon decided to hold on that until they were better equipped. By now BNI started to undock and started to prepare a warp to the YHN gate.
As soon as BNI had entered warp, Stainwagon warped to the gate GE- gate at range and promptly bubbled the gate. Both sides landed on their gate at the same time, and Stainwagon gave the order to drop drones. BNI jumped in to YNH and slowly started to decloak, giving Stainwagon easy targets to pick off.
BNI realised in what bad position they were and the order was given to anchor up and align out. It didn’t take long for them to burn out of the bubbles and their fleet was worked to a jump bridge in system. BNI tried to jump through this jump bridge on land but failed to realise that no sov means no jump bridging. To save their fleet the FC decided to warp their fleet to a POS and use that to back them up. This gave Stainwagon plenty of time to scoop their drones and get back to their own POS to prepare spots for them to kill the TCU without sustaining the full effect of this nasty enemy EWAR POS.
In an attempt to stop Stainwagon from using sentries to kill this last TCU, TEST tried to bomb them but only managed to kill a dictor. Meanwhile BNI’s fleet started to make a ping on Stainwagons logistics. BNI warped to this ping but only managed to kill 1 logi duo; the rest warping out. With this as their only success, BNI started to realise that they couldn’t kill anything. This new mindset meant that the order was once again given to burn out of bubbles and jump back home.
With BNI/TEST going home it gave Stainwagon the chance to kill the last TCU and then they went back to their homes in Stain.
