An Unthinkables Archon lost by Lizy Fonulique to a Hero fleet comprised mostly of Almost Awesome with Spaceship Samurai and Brave Collective.
Earlier today a fleet from Hero were preparing to start doing some black ops drops in Providence, while their scouts were out looking for targets a neutral had jumped in to UQ-PWD and went unnoticed by the small group of Hero members inside a friendly pos.
This changed however when a cyno was lit and another neutral jumped in to system, when noticed Roweena Azur called out over coms for scouts to go check celestials as the Archon on D-scan was not at the cyno, the fleet is amazed at what they find.
The Unthinkables Archon was sitting near the Ihub of the system, having warped from the cyno he had warped to the systems Ihub to try and hide. The Archon is immediately tackled by a hero ( in coalition meaning and actual meaning) Condor piloted by Ja’ Akba Hadah was the hero who tackled him in a condor and held Archon while a ping was sent out for anyone who wanted to get in on the kill to hurry to the location.
Now while we have all heard about how overpowered carriers are, how was it that a small group of destroyers, tech 1 frigates accompanied by 2 black ops and various other small ships had not only held an Archon but managed to kill it as well?
The Archon pilot was using tech I drones and had no Sensor booster to help target the smaller ships and only killed a stealth bomber before dying to the fleet, the ship that had the Archon tackled simply speed tanked the tech 1 drones.
The Archon died rather quickly from the small fleet firing at it as it had no self repair ability.
Now before anyone in the comment section decides to mail the Archon pilot asking if they can have his stuff i imagine it is likely to late as most of it was in the Archon loss i would imagine.
With Hero now doing black ops fleets and having killed a member of N3, will this change how N3 helps Hero in the future, having helped with some important timers in Catch ( HED-GP)? It seems at least to have affected this individual, here is some of the chat from Local :

What happened here was the corp Catastrophic Operations had left an alliance inside Hero coalition and had not fixed their standings to un-blue Hero and leaving them in a vulnerable position.
