Recently Mr. Antisocial was carrying parts for his new Mothership. What resulted was the German Mercenary Corporation Gemeinschaft Interstellarer Soldner doing their usual fate camping, killing Mr. Antisocial twice carrying parts for his capital who had travelled through that gate only 30 minutes earlier.
I’ll let one of the killers tell you the story himself:
In our long history as a german mercenary corporation, not a year ago we decided to leave 0.0 and settle down in lowsec. We found a great team within suddenly spaceships and are currently living in the forge / heimatar / metropolis area. Our tradmark is our efficiency, and our current “contract” is to keep our neighborhood nice and clean, and I think we’re doing a good job there 😉
One part of our “cleaning” is to control the traffic coming through the systems we live around. When we “close” a stargate for most of its traffic, interceptors are a part of this. Most people think they can travel easy in an interceptor, because they are fast. When you take a look at our killboard, we can prove you wrong:

There are ships that can lock you faster that you get into warp!
*except shuttles and pods, but hey, CCP created smartbombs for them*
Even without signature increasing modules, therefore fitting nanofibers to decrease inertia, they can be tackled. Sometimes, the “server-tick” (ping to servers, get the right moment to start and finish lock within the right tick) might save them once, but in the end, we get them all.
tl;dr: interceptors are save!
So it came yesterday when Mr Antisocial joined our local and though he can make and easy run for his super-capital.
A few seconds after decloaking from jumping, the only thing he could do was getting his pod save. After a view on the killmail, our members saw their cheerless luck: the loot-fairy said NO!
The Target took it like a sportsman:

However, it wasn’t his first important loss; a few days ago, he welped the other parts of his supercapital:

In the end, this is going to be one of the most expensive supercarrier-purchases in EVE. I just hope he has more luck flying it, or at least we can make it on the killmail.
