Today an NCDOT Nyx went down in the Y-JKJ8 solar system of the Impass region:
Long story an impromptu short a bait op took a turn for the worst amidst claims of bug issues playing a big role in the ship loss.

Alright here is what happened. Since I am the one who died – I probably know best.
After the massive structure grind NC. had a friend of mine poked me and asked me if I wanted to lure some Hands of Despair supers out, which killed a TCU in that system earlier and replaced it with theirs. So the plan was to kill the current TCU, replace it with one of ours and wait for the supers to come back. I moved my Phobos one jump out the system and we jumped the two supers – two, because the rest was tired after 3hrs-4hrs of structure grinding.
And sure enough it worked, Hands of Despair was warping in a brave Velator. But since we planned to kill the TCU and wait for them to come to us we warped off and cloaked at a save spot. We came up with the idea to make them drop on us, which they obviously intended to do, so I contacted one of the leaders, who said it was cool. So I moved my Phobos to system, refitted it real quick on the Nyx and cloaked the Phobos up on the TCU, which they obviously saw – probably should have put it somewhere else…
Anyways – we killed the TCU, Hands of Despair fucked off and an AAA Arazu came in, but didn’t light a cyno. So I recontacted the guy and asked him if it was cool if we’d make escalate with AAA – during that time time a Sabre already had us bubbled and shortly after that we got a reply to get out, if possible. So we fitted Smartbombs to kill the Sabre Bubbles, which worked of course, but because we have to carry so much shit it’s literally impossible to take off more than one capital module, so we had to switch the cyno and the cloak for two smartbombs. The bubbles went down and we both jumped out. It took away my cap, showed the jump animation and I was in warp tunnel, in which I should be stuck, while the game was notifying me about traffic control. I checked on my second client (Phobos) and my Nyx was still sat there in system. Was told to relog, but was still in the system after I got back in.
I’ll make this part quick now, because it’s mostly combat. NC. formed to save me, I tried to deploy multiple depots to refit to cyno / cloak fit, but they were all destroyed (gj on that). Once the bubble went down a second time I jumped out again and sure enough the same shit happened again, so I was still on field with low cap (seriously by game mechanics I got out twice). No slows were moved in, because it was unclear if I managed to get out. CFC came in, put neuts on me, hardners were unable to cycle, had no chance to refit for passive tank, so I dropped fast. Cyno jammer was used smartly, so slows and supers were unable to jump and I was still alone after all.
So I died. Thank you CCP, good play by CFC & AAA just had a bad play tbh, only a couple of Battlecruisers, but nothing organized – the only good thing they did was call CFC in.
Petitioned it already. Good fight never the less. After all I finally got some super PvP again I guess.
