For those who know what OTEC, you can skip this next section of text, and get right to the story.
For those that don’t however. OTEC was an agreement between the following Goonswarm Federation, Ev0ke, Test Alliance Please Ignore, Pandemic Legion, and Northern Coalition. to control the prices of Technetium. All members agreed to a no attack agreement on Tech moons owned by any member of OTEC. This agreement worked really well until the recent changes in what minerals were located in what moons.
Unfortunately, when NC. waged war against Venal, they formally broke their agreement with OTEC, but PL, Goons, and others didn’t break it. Now however, with war raging between DTF + the CFC and the N3 + PL, Goons and the rest of the CFC have been planning to bring their supers into the fight, to fight alongside BL and Russian supers. Upon hearing this however, Grath talked to Mittens with Vince about how if they (the cfc) did bring Supers to this war, PL would break the OTEC agreement and help NC. siege the entire north.
What this would mean, if OTEC was broken, would be focus of the war would shift from the South East to the Northern Territories held by the CFC. PL and NC. already have an invasion plan of the north ready, I would assume, and they’re just waiting for the CFC to bring supers into this fight, so PL can break officially break OTEC.
This intel is pretty recent, so it’s spotty in a few areas, and this post will be updated with more information once I’ve received.
