If you have been following EN24 closely you would notice my recent inactivity from the site’s comings and going. Like Amymuffmuff before him, Bobmon has been acting as interim Editor in Chief for Eve News24 and just like Amy, he’s been doing a good job at it. Thus, I am pleased to announce his designation as EN24’s editor in chief, releasing me from the duty. I will still be on top of day to day operations, but the main editorial calls are up to Bob’s criteria.
This management change will allow me to focus on getting more content and developing new features and finally getting proper giveaways for our readers. One thing which I feel proud to be working is on the fiction front of EVE Online, a few months ago we made an open call for graphic artists and some adventurous fella’s decided to jump into the wagon, I am happy to say that good progress has been made and that hopely this should serve as a perfect christmas gift from the EN24 team to our readers.
We are updating our look, something which should help us to feature the new stream of content in a more efficient way, the good news is that mobile access will be improved with this new iteration (I finally learned how to responsive -__- ).
Another front which I am working on is on developing services for the EVE Online community. I don’t plan on being another Chribba, much less competing with him – on the contrary the services I am working on should serve as the perfect complement to their services.
For the time being yes. Real life have taken a great toll of my free time – luckily there is no drama involved – the good thing is that the skills I have been acquiring will certainly go hand in hand with the on site features and other projects I have envisioned.
Finally I will remind you of the on going calls:
– We need writers and internet spaceships correspondents.
– We are looking for Streamers, here is the call. By the way, streamers now get an EN24 account so they can feature their exploits on the go.
– We are looking for drawing artists, here is the still on-going call.
– You can always send intel through here.
That’s all for the moment.
