The passing couple of weeks had supplied more than enough videos from around New Eden. From ambient videos, fake trailers and some hilarious or tense PvP moments, these are EVE News 24’s picks for the past weeks:
#1 Suddenly Spaceships Contract: DelveSwarm by DeathByBunny
A summary video of Suddenly Spaceships [CYN0]’s contract in the Delve region. The video depicts the different hot drops the alliance was forced to make, waging a guerrilla warfare against Goonswarm Federation [CONDI]. Truly interesting, not to mention the good soundtrack and the inclusion of several failures, keeping the viewer wondering if the next beacon the fleet jumps into might prove its last.
#2 EvE Online – Cruor Solo PvP Halloween Special by Cosmo Blink
A PvP compilation of solo fights featuring the Cruor frigate, the smallest member of the Blood Raider family. Though small, like all Blood Raider ships, it can be quite deadly. Give it a watch.
#3 Blockade of Titans by Xoduse
While most gate camps are set up to catch those coming in or going out, very few can boast of being nearly as impenetrable as the one showcased in this video. When a fleet is blocked from reaching the gate, it is very rarely due to the gate being hidden by a huge mass of titans…
#4 Groon Nyx Down by Tungsten Knight
Once again the pilots of Escalating Entropy [CHAOS] bag a super carrier. This time, an unsuspecting Nyx is caught moving, and the boys and girls of Escalating Entropy are more than happy to give its pilot a hand, as well as some free ammunition to boot! Always a fun watch (Well, except for the ship’s owner I’d imagine).
#5 The Art of Poor Part III by John Drees
Another excellent guide by John Drees on sustainable PvP, this time exploring the subject of “Greed” both in PvE and PvP as well as the problems that can arise from it.
#6 EVE Online – EVE Is Beautiful Part 1 by Everything EVE
A beautiful video with a nice soundtrack exploring the different landscapes of New Eden, showcasing everything from the gritty sunlit asteroid fields to the man made architecture in space. Always nice to stop for a moment and appreciate just how beautiful the game can really be.
#7 EVE Online – FCON Takes Out The Bonewalkers. by Everything EVE
Another beautiful video from Everything EVE, this time of the battle of F9E-KX fought between Vanguard Coalition, Phoenix Federation and The Volition Cult [VOLT], Stain Wagon coalition and Providence Bloc. This full cinematic view of the battle is quite amazing to view.
#8 Pound Town in memoriam 2016 – 2016 by Temppu Gaming
A small re-counting of the Tribute war so far from the perspective of Test Alliance Please Ignore [TEST]. Both the quality of the editing and the narration are superb and a joy to watch and listen to. However, be warned that this is a one sided re-telling of the conflict thus far.
